I am not in the racing business. You have been wrong so far about racing, so lets move back to pool because you are not making any sense.
We were talking about pool and how the pool industry barely supports the Professional Player. We are not talking about teams.
For an industry to grow: that takes investment and in our case also FANS and not just PLAYERs

The FIRST thing pool needs, is an organization that represents an ORGANIZED group of dedicated PROFESSIONAL players that are in fact repetitive so that the viewing audience can learn there NAMES!! THEN there needs to be platform in which to SHOW a viewing audience their competitive sport to, so that a SPONSOR will make a financial commitment to the sporting even, as a way of advertising THEIR products or services for sale to so that they in return can pull a PROFIT from their advertising DOLLARS invested in providing tournament players winnings!!!
Now, tell me where this industry fits in!!!
This industry has always been, and will continue to be so, including you, all about "how much can I make, and how much can I get away with".....because NO ONE in this industry really cares about the Professional players, they buy and sell them all the time with endorsement contracts for penny's on the dollar!!!!
There are TONS of Organizations who host tournaments. Companies in the industry should be sponsoring them and many of them do
Why does Diamond host the DCC? For advertising and marketing= to sell tables CPBA just hosted a big tourny in China, for why? To sell more cloth. There are many different ways this industry can grow. I have a feeling new companies entering the market can only help

As long as the players are putting up over 75% of their OWN money so there is some sort of payout....pool will NEVER improve!!!
Why do you attack the truth? Which players do YOU sponsor to do YOUR part in this industry, or do you keep all you make???

Business= Spend money + time(more valuable than money)= Make money!!
We have hit PAYDIRT. You got that right. You just proved my point. None of the $$$ I spend in the industry goes to the players because so few of those companies endorse players( actually pay them checks). That brings us full circle to what we were originally talking about. The industry does not support the professionals. Thanks for getting to that!
