Length of Cue: 40 inches [1.016 m] minimum / No Maximum
Weight of Cue: No minimum / 25 oz. [708.75 gm] maximum
Width of Tip: No minimum / 14mm maximum

The cue tip may not be of a material that can scratch or damage the addressed ball. The cue tip on any stick must be composed of a piece of specially processed leather or other fibrous or pliable material that extends the natural line of the shaft end of the cue and contacts the cue ball when the shot is executed..

If its on the WPA site then those are still in effect. What are concerned with? Just curious. If its about tips i don't know if they really police the tip material part of it. BCA cue rules are same as WPA,btw.

Seriously doubt you have anything to sweat. I've never seen a TD check a cue since they gave up enforcing the phenolic/g10 tip ban. That's been a while.

I wish they put in a max length and min weight limit on the cues to stop all the silliness with super long cues and super light jump cues.

Nope, because they are silly. And I don't use one. At least not the high tech ones that look like a stick with a bubble at the end.

It's a losing argument anyway LOL, not a single pro I have heard and most good players that are asked wants jump cues in the game, it's only used because it's allowed and if someone does not use it they are at a disadvantage. But still silly.

I don't even care if there are short jump cues (not too much at least), but they should be restricted in weight and length so some C player is not jumping a ball 1/2 inch away because they bought a 5 oz carbon jump cue.

Jump cues are training wheels, only blemish on the game right now really as far as having it be a skilled game. No new tip or shaft tech does nearly as much to change the core of the game as does a jump cue. You won't really make more balls because or a new tip or LD shaft without a lot of practice, but I have seen kids jump balls in a few tries first time they touched a jump cue. And I mean 12 year olds not 15 or 18.
