Yes, Larry bought a POS pool hall and turned it into a very nice place to play after he hit it big in the lottery.

Unfortunately, the current owners have returned it to its pre-Larry condition.

I heard last week new owners take over soon. Not sure what that will mean but it has nowhere to go but up. It was a really good place until about 4-5 years ago.

THE Rack was at 13400 Capital. Building is gone. Google Satellite still shows it but it was torn down a few yrs. ago by the towing co. that resides there now. It very much is there but it's spelled Livonia. I think Lavonia was the sister of the trans prostitute in Napolean Dynamite.

ROFL, I was thinking the same thing.
I grew up in Redford which borders Livonia to the east.
I've been to the place currently called the Rack, I believe it's on Joy Rd.
It was back in 89, may have been called something different then, not sure.
