Kinda like traffic lights.
Had a visitor from some country up north of us, New York I believe. He was asking what the deal was with red lights in New Orleans.
I explained to him that red meant look both ways and zip on through. Green meant look both ways and zip through too, got to watch out for everybody running the red light.
He asked what the yellow light was for?
"Variety."
