Do you have any numbers to support your statement that Schmidt has lost more than half of his 14.1 matches (overall, not just against any one player)?

Schmidt's best-known 14.1 tournament title, the so-called World Tournament of 2012, had 48 entrants. {Granted, as is normal in that event, many of the entrants were not pro-level players.]. Schmidt won 10 matches (including wins over Stephan Cohen, Eberle, Hohmann, Eckert, and Reyes) and lost 1 (to Eberle).

Another win of Schmidt's was the 2012 Maryland Straight Pool Championship with 32 entrants (not all pros). He went 7-0 in that event, including wins over Wilke, Kiamco, Archer, and Hohmann (in the finals).

A 3rd win was the 2003 Legends of Straight Pool. That event had 28 entrants. Schmidt defeated Barouty in the finals.

Don't get sucked into this distraction. The record is for a high run, not career high win/loss percentage. Everyone here knows that the combination of physical and mental skill required to put up a big number is a unique thing to have...and not identical to the skill set to win matches over a lifetime.

not sure what record yer tryin' to create a reference 4? Not sure if u believe the 626 is legit? Do not really care bout ur opinion at this point as I have read most of yer responses (taking a shot at IT) what is IT? Do u mean Mosconi's official 526 {or the bca/j.s 626 claim that none are allowed to view in a 'normal dvd format' claim (not a record)?

I was not referencing myself, I said many forum members here (myself not included) have offered over $100.00 for their own signed copy - do you have a genuine answer (lol on u being genuine) for these people (duh plural) as to why there is no video for sale in disc form? Please do not say they are still tryin to figure out how to monetize this accomplishment :-o that lie/excuse went stale - over a year and 1/2 ago. Give yer black magic 8 ball a good shake before u try 4 an actual genuine answer - u r gonna need all the help u can muster.

Actually it is the bca and j.s. that look small here, many have offered good $ for a signed copy of this so called 'record' the bca will continue to offer the sounds of silence for an answer to why they are not selling personal signed copies. Here is an interesting scenario "Hey I heard j.s. ran 626, Oh I am going to have to order a copy so I can watch at home and study the run". Sorry almost two years later and still no disc's for sale to the public "Oh that is weird"? As u so eloquently stated 'most people' I know - would feel there is something wrong with their claim.
