Leon is supposed to be making me a cue I ordered last year about this time. I have tried to reach out to him to check in but I am getting no response. Anyone happen to know him or have talked to him recently? Its only been a few days but I'm starting to get concerned. Thanks.

so im gonna re answer your post once again.
so when leon sly text a person who asked him about what happwened with the cuemaker accusing leon of not making all his own cues. and leon still oweing him money. leon responded to the guy and i quote. {paraphrasing}
"i got behind on orders and had him build some cues to catch up. and i only owe him like 300 dollars "
that was the jest of what leon said out of his own mouth. which the gentleman showed the screenshots.
so if that isnt enough proof for you. then i dont know what to tell you!

I didn't but I didn't feel it was any of my business to either.
Nor do I have the right to judge any Cue maker. A lot of makers have gotten help over the years one time or another.
It doesn't prove Mr. Sly isn't a Cue maker. He got behind and got help. Then he shared that with someine and got gis trust betrayed and his livelihood challenged.
As for you thinking I'm a smart ass. I don't care what you think. I'm not hard to find.
But I do hope you never fall from grace because if you do, people will remember how quick you were to bring up another Cue makers life.

Your to funny. I have good shoulders and the first one to admit. I can be a real Asshole. But as a Cue maker, I will defend another Cue maker everyday.
That Legend sentence is a little insulting but I love ya anyway.
I just spoke to him (Leon Sly). He told me he worked this out with you. Your cue will be done, but he was shut down for a good 4 months due to the pandemic (supply issues at the time). Plenty of orders are on hold, not just yours. Your emails were going to his spam folder, therefore he didn't receive them anyway (no one thinks to look there to begin with - I certainly do not).
You should remove this thread as it could hurt his business and I know Leon is a stand up guy and a great cue maker.

just like any other venture ive ever done. is because i have integrity and my word super means something to me.
and what i say, i will do. to the best of my ability. and if i cant do it for some fault of mine or not. and listen up,
i will tell the customer the truth what is going on. something it seems this industry is full of,
is people who's word means less then nothing, and are liars. time and time again.

there have been quite a few cue makers out of business and still in business, that have either screwed their customers or at least lied about things and completion times or did very poor workmanship at times.
so tough luck, but that put all the decent cuemakers on alert that they have to be very upfront and honest. as the internet is your friend if you do good and your arch enemy if you fail. and that is a good thing.
