Flashback time.............

Karen & I were the tournament directors for all the first Scotch Doubles events. Not only the Huebler Cup but the VNEA and BCA Nationals also.
We brought Karen's idea to the masses! First big event was in the real early 80's.
NOTE: Karen turns 78 years young today. I am blessed.

Thanks for that! I attended the All Around Event reviewed on page 2- at West End Billiards in Elizabeth NJ one night while i was in the state on business. What a great event, I still have the original program for that event- probably one of the few in existence- Sigel, Varner, Hopkins, and Jimmy Fusco playing all three games- one pocket, 9 ball, and 14.1- I think one of the best nights of live pool I ever experienced in a room with more pool atmosphere than one could ever imagine at West End billiards.
