Invitation to collaborate on developing a system based on going into the rail first

Its nice people can read up on old mathematics.

However my interest is on using dynamics after going into the rail.
Any takers, I plan to make a video with some early theories.

It won't be as precise as DrDave but it will have enough practical sense to it.

If its been done already that is why I asked here.

Here is my demonstration for various offense and defensive shots after going into the rail using the 30 degree angle.

I also have a bit where I bounce it off two rails or have it slide off the rail and move perpendicularly uptable.

Still curious about how to model this behavior. Since experts are here, Id take a chance. Its likely this has been discovered already.

I think it would have been easier if you had used your cue with the towel wrap or Christmas lights on it.

i put the protractor in it. that was the big innovation for my production skills.

I would suggest Grady Matthews Only Kicks video , it is pretty exhaustive.

I felt DrDave had an incomplete library in the following video

I consider it a subclass of compression shots, shooting into rail at 30 degree angle for various other effects.

I'll bet he wishes he had put in a protractor!

I support dave using the video to produce his own results. Dave has a lot better skills and technology I hope he shares the knowledge in the spirit of collaboration and fun.
