My Anniversary table

We recently bought an anniversary table for 1900.00. It seems to be in good condition. It does need some cosmetic repairs but the slate is solid. The previous owners used bondo for some reason to connect the slates together instead of beeswax. It was a little nerve wracking when the pro's I hired were taking the table apart. It came apart with a little persuasion without damaging the slate. I've been trying to date the table. It's a model D-C. Here is what it looks like would love to hear what you think.

Congrats!! My dad bought a new Anniversary with ball returns in 1960. Sold it with the house in 1982 and bought it back about 10 years later, still has it.

Thank you for all the comments. We found out that the table was restored in 1990. We love the table. It plays beautifully. It does need new pockets though. I've been trying to find someone that has leather pockets for it. Nobody makes them anymore. I did find a place in New York that has been thinking of doing it. I need to send them pics they might do it for me. Not sure what it will cost though.

That table turned out just great,,nice job Sir. I called on that Plant in Marion VA for a few years before they shut their doors selling hardware parts to them. I later acquired a Centennial table
back in the early 90's. The Aluminum sides were worn badly and knew of a plating company down the road from Marion called Electro Platrite.
I called them up to see if they could handle finishing on aluminum . Gent said the could take a try at it. I drove up their with all the sidings and an old Gent who owned the company came out and saw what I had in my truck and siad, those sides came off of a Brunswick Anniversary Centennial
pool table,,we did the finish on those when Brunswick built those back when. When he called me back to pick up the parts, they were all boxed up, I paid what he asked , got everything home, and when I opened up the boxes and started bring parts out, the room lite up like there were other light bulbs coming out of those boxes. Starting to think I should have shot some clear coat laquir over them to protect from any oxidation. Back in the day they anodized those parts, but this time they were polished by buffing wheels and were like mirrors when the light hit them right.

Niiiiiiice table, Congrats!

That light stain wood contrasts nicely with the blue felt. A dark "Bordeaux" red would also look great.

Damn those are some beautiful tables! One day, when all the kids are out of college and the wife decides she finally has enough degrees, I’m going to design a house around a table like this.
I’m very envious of you guys who already have your dream house and table. Enjoy
