Maybe you're thinking about the Kaci match mentioned above. Here is the whole run in five minutes (with the dead time removed):Didn't Ruslan run the set out of TEN BALL against Alex P ?

That match was played from about 1 am to 3 am (east coast time) on Friday morning, July 27, 2012.
The score was 15-4.
Landon missed shots in Games 3, 8 (twice), 11, 15, 18, and 19.
Landon fouled on missed kicks in Games 2 and 5 and scratched on the break in Games 4 and 7.
The match is available on YouTube.
I was there too, was a great show to see! At 11:15 you can see me come sit down ( directly under the 1 and 0 of the score) to watch the rest of the match. I just finished watching J Hall win the 1Pocket event. Earl was talking to my buddy who saved my seat a few of those times he was distracted. I'll never forget Earl asking that one guy if he was going to bite his sandwich every time he shoots?!This must be the video of the match: Landon Shuffett vs Earl Strickland in the Diamond 10-Ball 10 Foot Challenge
Pretty sure Johnny said they played three sets. Francisco won the first and third. Johnny ran the whole 2nd set, and two more games in the 3rd.Was it that long ago? You might be right. I thought it was a little more recent, like 2014 or 15.
Oh, one other match that belongs on here. It was a money game held after hours at the Bicycle Casino back in the early 1990's between Johnny Archer and Francisco Bustamante. They played a Race to Thirteen for some serious cash (like 5K each). Johnny broke and ran the entire set, 13-0! Of course he thought Busti was done after that, but he was wrong. Busti said flip for the break and they played a second set that Francisco won. Johnny quit after that, breaking even. They talked about that match for years afterward. It's the most racks run that I know about being 100% certain.
I think i read somewhere that Archer signed table after games "I ran 13 and out on this table" and Busti signed then "but I won"Pretty sure Johnny said they played three sets. Francisco won the first and third. Johnny ran the whole 2nd set, and two more games in the 3rd.
After running out the whole 2nd set, Francisco asked to double the bet. Johnny declined. At least, that’s how Johnny reported it on the TAR interview. The bet between them wasnt outrageous.
I have played Wade many times once he was past his prime and beat him about as much as he beat me. But one time I played him in an open event and he decided to give me an exhibition on safety play. The tables had tight pockets, so if he had a tough shot he would leave the cue ball on one end rail with the object ball on the other end rail. It seemed he could do this to me from just about anywhere. Needless to say he won that day. Our run out games were about equal at that time, (he was past his prime) but his safety game was light years ahead of mine. It just goes to show you that when an old pro really wants to win he can pull out some old tricks and out smart his opponent. Wade was also a great teacher and lived next city over from me for a good while. I wish I had taken some lessons from him.For the finals of a major tournament, I only know of Wade Crane’s 1.000 in the mid 1980’s.
