Here's Part 3 of the PPC 100 instructional video series. Enjoy!
Does anybody recommend things in addition to or different from what I covered?

good video! Only thing what i did not like was two rail alternative route from key ball(11) to 8 on layout 17(around 10:06). It is dangerous shot and should be avoided. On serious game you want to take away any chances to scratch. That shot with sidespin is really easy to scratch to middle. Especially no tables that are not familiar rails could give funny bounce with sidespin sometimes and it is too often then.![]()
I don't think a bar box offers much of an advantage because there is less room to leave shape on tight position shots. All the 9' tables were taken yesterday, so I tried on a bar table. I breezed through the beginning layouts and then over ran a ball. I laughed it off, then told myself I'd hit 100 on the next attempt. 7 attempts later I got so frustrated and quit. While pocketing balls was easier for sure, little positional errors compounded and made me feel like a beginner.
I don't know which is going to be easier to get 100 on.
Hurry up, I'm heading to the pool room tonight!Nobody yet made 3rd 100?
My cue have Z2 shaft and it´s carbon core have been little broken last 2 years.
It finally gave up week ago. Maybe I take another shot to 100 but i need to borrow my students cue.. (my old mezz)
hehe

From my experience trying it on my bar table- some layouts have to be approached differently as there isn’t as much space- particularly the last rack (I think) there is one ball that doesn’t go in the corner on a tight bar table- you basically have to shoot it in the side to start the rackI don't think a bar box offers much of an advantage because there is less room to leave shape on tight position shots.
I had a heart breaker yesterday also. I made the first 106 balls (out of 108) and hooked myself by 1/4". I was so excited to be so close to finally getting the 100, I over hit the ball ever so slightly. My swerve shot rattled the pocket. I'll probably take a break for a while now. My wife says I'm too obsessed.
I have only messed with the first 4 layouts and it has proven to me 2 things.
1. I play fast-too fast. I take position for granted and it makes things waaaay harder. I need to look at where I "need" to be , not just over here.
2. I have absolutely no attention span. As a example layout #1- I play it the first time and find myself needing the bridge to play the 7 ball. So I try the layout again only allowing myself draw on every shot. Then I set it up again and try to run out ala 1 pocket. Get bad on the 9 and can't get out. Well that is enough for me. Play a couple racks of 14.1 miss a ball and try to run out making a billiard or carom everyshot. Get to last ball and kick 2/3/4 rails at it. Back to layout 1. On to layout out 2........layout 3. Kick up and back a few times checking stroke straightness. Kick 5 rails to scratch. Quit for the night.
Walk in set up layout 1. On to layout 2 but decide to bank them all 1 rail banks only. Try it twice. On to a rack of 14.1 Balls don't open up so play all combos and caroms. Tell myself hey apply yourself at a game of bowliards. Make it through 4 racks and in the 5th rack wondering if I can runout 1pkt style. Quit bowliards. Realize I have a serious attention span problem. Sit down to write this post and get distracted
It is 24 hrs later and writing this post.

I just posted a score of 100 also. Who else is going to join the "100 on PPC 100" Club?
Looks for me that I would try hit it thinner and come almost same route 2 rails. I am not sure. Shot was fine but something about it felt wrong lol.The only shot with which I had a little indecision was the 7-ball shot at the 10:50 point. Do you guys think I made the right decision? What would you have done differently?
Thanks in advance for any input,
Dave
