I'm honored that my laser made it into JB's favorite pool pics!
He doesn't like it when people investigate fantastic claims for themselves rather than accept it as gospel. He's spending something like $185 for spite, lol. Monty also purchased two of them so maybe Huepar should put me on their sales staff (actually not sure which brand Monty got).
I'd be interested to see what John debunks with his laser. I think my observations were pretty mild. I'm in the fact finding stage of studying this with mohrt.

Not spite. Not your laser. Didn't spend 185. I explore quite a few things that interest me and currently your activities in the area interest me. So when interested I like to have as close to the same conditions in order to replicate whatever "effort" has been made and even go much farther if possible.
I have zero problem with people who investigate claims. I have a ton of problem with people who claim to be investigating claims and throw up nonsense that is not evidence of anything but incompetence or maliciousness.
I can't stand people who seek to tear down this sport and I like those who build it up. Anything that generates more interest in and enjoyment of this amazing game is acceptable to me.
People like me keep pool alive. People who do what I described are involved in killing it. Dramatic? Maybe but it's my opinion that those who spend their time knocking can't be creating at the same time.
Your laser didn't make my favorite pics. A picture of a laser set up on my table did. That laser is set up in order to explore various topics along with the other students at the Pool Dojo in Oklahoma City. When I do something it is in the interest in helping myself and others to understand more about this sport.
In fact, I bought two of them because I think that there are some concepts that two lasers can more effectively demonstrate.

If you would be less defensive about everything like mohrt then we might find out why there such a big divide between the two factions.
That loose grip and that bridge, solid, with finger flexibility...She flat out looks like a pool player. Her stance looks properly lined up, too with a fairly level cue for an amateur. I'd be surprised if she wasn't at least decent at the game.
Hard to be less defensive when some seem to revel in being offensive.
