Diamond arrived update

His tour is just a fantasy. Been talking about it for waaay too long. He keeps talking about how great its going to be and announcements are just around the corner. Must be one long fkng corner.

LOL, he once told me he "knew a guy" at Netlfix and he was going to finance everything and this was going to be done by increasing Netflix membership by $2 a month. LMAO :ROFLMAO:

Ok, first, how many members already bitch about the Netflix fee? How many thousands of movies/shows do they get for that fee and now big shot RKC is going to raise their monthly fee by $2 so some people can play some pool.

That is top notch lunacy right there.

That's the kind of person he is.

Only a fool keeps chasing a rabbit down a hole, if the rabbits not there. It's called changing plans, when one doors not open, you keep trying other doors until you find the one that IS open, but you wouldn't know anything about that, as you have nothing to contribute to this industry!

Diamond will make it right if they can. Is the table level? Diamond's coming out next month (for the 4th time) to see if they can successfully level my 1 year old table that sits on a cement floor.
Garage conversion...? The soil around the perimeter of those floating slabs tend to cave way over short periods. Could be enough to continually throw the table out of whack.

I was wondering if the legs needed leveling or the bed was getting out of whack. A Diamond that the bed wouldn't hold level on could be interesting assuming moderate competence on the mechanic's part! My first leveling work on a sears and roebuck table didn't go too well when I was fifteen. The table was badly off level and wouldn't adjust to level. What I didn't realize was that in my failed efforts to adjust it to level I had left gaps between some of the levelers and the bed. That table ran around until I learned to let that artificial slate settle between times meddling with it.

Or, it the table wasn't level after 4 attempts to level it, is number 5 really going to be any different? Somebody don't know what they're doing!!

Well I have played on Gold Crowns, and Diamonds,

I personally if I ever had a home large enough to have a 4.5 x 9.0, I would rather have Gold Crown v/s Diamond because I like the Brunswick product better.
Yet you own neither, great👍how old are you now, about 80? If you don't already own a pool table, I don't think I see one in your near future either!

If I had room and dollars there is no question I would have an antique table. One thing this thread drifted by with a little help, pride of ownership is one reason to have a pool table. Most of us want those that see our table, those that play on it, to admire it.

I would have one if I had room in home to accomidate tabler, do not see me having room in near future. Unless I hit powerball. BTW do not buy tickets. But do have a Pool room with in walking distance, with mix of Diamonds & BETTER GOLD CROWNS.

Stupid people who own the room dumped our old Gold Crowns that were perfectly great, repairable, for the Diamonds. That was a total waist of money. IMHO

Best part was the GC 2's & 3's were given away for $250.00/ by the dumb people in charge.

Even though I dont have the room, I would have bought one. Maybe two!

You do know the Blue labels are a superior table to the 1, 2, or 3 ;)
I tend to agree here. They DO play different but its not near the huge gulf that some carry on about. Normally play on nice GC4's and going to a Blue-tag Diamond is not that big of an adjustment. The Diamond Pro's are built like tanks. ProAm's are ok but i hate ball-return tables.
