I haven't looked at this. I have came to believe the whole math and geometry thing is largely in error anyway. All of this to play pool is a lot like learning the ABC's to learn how to read. We need the building blocks but then we move beyond them. It has been years since I said my ABC"s and then it was out of curiosity if I still could. Pool is the same way. When we gain control we are factoring in so many things besides angles that they become one variable among many. The adjustments are at least equal to the basic angles.

Yep, everyone I hear at pool halls talk about "pool is all geometry" but really it's not past the very basic theoretical ball movements after contact. It's more physics than anything else, with some geometry as basics to learn angles and ball travel paths. You can't just play knowing the angles, you need to learn to control the distance you are traveling along those angles to move on the table surface to play position, never mind the small detail of being able to actually hit the cueball properly to make the shot.
