some of the more finer establishment's coordinate their ball polisher performance with game performance.

some internals from the Eclectic Funk collection,

shop scrap, light fixture part, range fan motor/assembly, room carpeting-tile type, the carpeting has ribs in it, runs parallel with the table shot and bends nicely in 2 3/4' hole saw cut. the ball carriage just pinches in, can hold it, move up and down and rotate for different positions on the disk.

Worm drive motor is 4× the cost of the Dayton motor in the polisher, and good luck installing a worm driver motor in the box frame, then driving the second platter at the same time, at the speed it currently spins!!
