Nothing else. I’ve just never been so disappointed in a cue. And also I was considering getting a Vikore shaft on my next one along with a regular shaft, but this just put a bad taste in my mouth. So now maybe only one shaft a vpro instead of the Vikore. Guess They’ll have to sell another Valhalla or 2 to make up for the extra shaft I don’t purchase with it.
I get it. The ones last night were an early run and all ordered together. They’ll get one more chance from me next time. Maybe it was just the run. And some of the responses/reviews here have been good on them.Don't confuse V'hallas with Viking's US-made stuff. Different animal altogether.
You’re right in more than one way. no brown/bronze/copper looking color. That salesman cue is awesome. I’ve never seen one like it before. You should beat Texas Carom with it…….j/k j/kWhat’s missing from it, I never noticed is the orange creme cycle color of the cue I borrowed in salt lake![]()
They can play great with the right setup. Maybe that’s why I’m so biased on these Valhalla ones.Pretty sure all viking cues suck,
I purchased 4 SP Valhalla cues for my dad when him and his wife purchased a piece of furniture table. Believe me they were far superior to the junk that came with the table. Also, color shafts are solid. Price wise I don’t think you can find a much better value. You’re right in more than one way. no brown/bronze/copper looking color. That salesman cue is awesome. Have you seen the cost of baseball bats lately? It’s ridiculously high. Even $250 for the “best” bat seemed high 20 years ago. Now they are $500+!I guess becoming one of the most prolific cue companies in the history of pool is a failure if you try to cater to a market who has no intention of spending more than $120 on a cue?
This is good to know. I’m kind of on a cue buying binge since starting back in. Maybe I’ll buy a cue for my girlfriend with a Vikore and try it before I go buy one for me. She’s more of a straight shooter anyway. She isn’t bad just doesn’t know all the shots yet. LD might suit her well. At $550 msrp It hopefully hits good.Vikore shafts are solid. I play with a Runde butt and Searing shaft. I have no issue playing w a Viking w a vikore. Damn nice cue for the money in my opinion.
You’re the one who reviewed? I read that a couple times. Awesome!Vikore shaft review
Hey guys, as the title reads..I will be giving up my 2 cents about the Vikore LD shaft from Viking Cues. First off I am still giving it a good test drive before I give you guys an in depth personal opinion on the shaft and its characteristics.. So this is just a heads up.
