What kind of cue is this?

So I just bought a bumper pool table off a guy and he gave me a bunch of cues with it. I came across this. Its got really nice wrap if it’s a cheap one. Like the wrap is better than on a new Viking when I receive it. along with the reverse points. Is it a cheapy or a score? Ferrule is missing. And no brand on it. With that joint it has to be pretty aged. Some of the other house cues look to be pretty old like there are 2 with the circle inlays looking like the old Brunswick ones. But they have a lion or dragon or griffin or something on the butts. Whatever it ends up being, this might be my new shooter at home anyway. I don’t know if it’s just nostalgia but I love the design on it. Probably because it reminds me of Vikings older designs.

Those are Adam cues with the lion logos.

What's the label on the cue on the far left of the cue rack?

The maple-and-black butterfly splice would make a real cute sneaky conversion.

Your original cue could be many things, including Adam. Likely an older japanese import (as Adam cues were).

Cannot comment on the cue, but .you might consider deleting the picture of the barcode on your keyring.

Thanks for the input. I had to go to work. So Idk but pretty sure that one’s unbranded. There are two house cues with a silver ring in the middle of them. I thought they were sneaky Pete’s before trying to take them apart. Maybe they are two piece and I’m just weak!. Personally I’m just happy to have some 1 piece breakers now. My real table came with some not so good 2piece cues.

That’s a gym membership. Free for anyone who can use it. Lol. Like many I don’t get there very often anymore. Going to try to black it out.

I doubt they are two piece. Several companies make one piece cues like those.

Read better through the description it’s a full splice cue MSRP in 1970 iwas like 750 bucks. I guess I consider this a score. Now who’s got a vintage Adam shaft for sale that matches.

The Adam Century is a very nice cue- one of my favorites- I sold mine for $700 a few years ago.
I put a shaft on it from one of those other Adam cues I have. I swear the taper has to be 20” on them. I’ve never hit with that long of a taper. And it’s a “true” taper. Was that/is that normal for Adam cues. The cue hits great and has a nice sound to it. and I think that could be be my new go to taper.
