AZ IS MY FORUM , WITH THAT SAID OTHER THEN FACEBOOK , ANY OTHER GOOD FORUMS TO JOIN , SET UP LIKE AZ ?
 
The only other cuesports forum I know of is TSF, which is snooker related, but I'd like to join more ones centred around pool, especially English pool.

I guess /r/billiards also works.
 
hey now lol . they have groups and pool cues i would never see unless im there. im like in 10 forums. plus there are cues for sale
you never would see to buy . unless there. getting ready to up a szam this weekend . stoked . bucket list and will be left for my 5 yer old grandkid Piper /

most of the time here nothing changes in a week lol /
 
This is by far the best billiards forum. Mostly just good old fashioned agreeable or disagreeable opinions with a healthy sprinkling of insight and deep knowledge (99%+ of us will learn something just by loitering here). There might be some better niche forums out there for some of the more obscure games but I haven't found a better pool (or snooker) forum. Billiards is a small world (even Barry Hearn is realistic when he says snooker is aspiring to be a "minor major" sport). The quality of the regular posters and their knowledge here is high.
 
BILLIARDSDIGEST.COM had a pretty good forum until they gave the trolls free reign ... at which point it burned to the ground quickly.

Both Billiards Digest Chalk Board and Rec.Sport.Billiard were killed by Larry Grindinger, who never understood how forums worked.

Fast Larry Grindinger was different, funny thing is how many year after his informative death. People still talk about his unique personality.

Didn't know him well, did you? One of the MOST VICIOUS bastards I've ever encountered on the 'Net. If you disagreed with him you got called a liar and various obscenities.

Well we spoke many times on the telephone. He was very opinionated, but was also 110% correct in his opinions on many topics.

Think we disagreed on many things but the conversations were civil.

Think there we two Larry’s the one on the net, and the one on the phone.

I know his wonder dog was not a nice dog. Think it was a crazy Jack Russell that areknow for being very aggressive dogs.
