Hate to see what the grocery store would look like in those weeks. I might need to start doomsday prepping some toilet paper and Lunchables.Well, not forever. But for a few weeks for sure ;-)

Thx for clearing that up, I’m guilty of not knowing all the rules.Quarantine guidelines only require first level contact to quarantine. If Earl were to test positive, then everyone in contact (within 6' for more than 15 minutes) would have to quarantine. Vaccinated individuals do not have to quarantine unless they get sick. At least those are the US rules. I see everyone so upset and people asking the same question you did as well. I don't understand how we are two full years into this here and people still don't know what the rules have been for the past year.
Essentially, Earl's objection to being vaccinated has cost him $15k and a chance at $30k. I applaud him for sticking to his convictions. People have strongly held beliefs on both sides about getting vaccinated, but I believe a lot of the obstainers might have given in if they knew they were risking that much $$,$$$.
I think there is a lot of sentimentality for Earl win, lose or draw. He’s “Peck‘s Bad Boy” of pocket billiards. A shooter in his time and a draw every time. He’s pools equivalent to P.t. Barnum and Mohammed Al. I don’t think he would be less exciting if he never won a match at the Cup.Earl embarrassed himself with very forgettable play at the 2013 Mosconi Cup and has had few high finishes in tournament play since. One must wonder where the confidence is coming from. If he'd said "I ain't no joke" after the 2013 Mosconi, he'd have been mistaken.
I hope he plays well and will root hard for him, but Filler, Kaci, Ouschan, Shaw and Alcaide all finished higher than Earl at the US Open. At the International, Earl also didn't finish ahead of anyone on Team Europe. It's possible he can beat them to a pulp at the Mosconi, but the evidence sure doesn't point that way.
My god. You are the first person i know outside my family making a pecks bad boy reference. Kudo to you.I think there is a lot of sentimentality for Earl win, lose or draw.
