Terrence McKenna is one of those people who I think most well studied people should study a little bit of. Tons of his lectures are on youtube. He has some really out there stuff, but also some really revealing stuff. I don't buy a lot of what he says, but he hits the nail on the head often. Pretty interesting character, kind of like Timothy Leary but maybe slightly less drug focused. Kind of an eclectic hippy intellectual. Lots of stuff about perception, the nature of reality (as he sees it), how to tame your own self, etc. Even some stuff about politics, the nature of control etc. I think you'd find it interesting.I had to do a search. Never heard of him. Thanks.
Psylocybin can be a good drug if used wisely. One of those that the non-medical politicians deemed 'bad' and hired men with guns to try and stop its use. Sounds kind of familiar, doesn't it?
Ooops, too serious....sorry....let me add an image to help. A book I once read:

Decades ago on one of my tours through the Harrah's auto museum, this car was on display. The sign read: "On loan from Steve McQueen". I remember standing in front of it, mesmerized and drooling. Here's a video about that particular car.
