Duck-pin was always big in the Baltimore area. A buddy grew up there and said it was a big game yrs ago. Don't know if they still play it. https://pattersonbowlingcenter.com/ Guess so.I think in WI where I never grew up.... we might of called it, duck pin bowling?

If the shooter PUSHED on the shot after the break, the incoming player could pass it back. Only on the shot after the break though.Massey made a ball on the first break we saw,
then kicked the one,hit a rail and earl got up then sat down and massey continued to shoot.
Anyone know why?
Mike still out there playing getting it done. He was just in Georgia a couple weeks ago. Mike is a hell of a guy, I really like him. He gave me a beautiful McDermott with emeralds in it it’s 61” or 62” long. Super fancy- just as a gift. I’ll keep it forever. It's also really nice to see Massey swingin' it. He's beat pretty much all of em at one time or another in match play.
You should post a few pics of that.Mike still out there playing getting it done. He was just in Georgia a couple weeks ago. Mike is a hell of a guy, I really like him. He gave me a beautiful McDermott with emeralds in it it’s 61” or 62” long. Super fancy- just as a gift. I’ll keep it forever.
I agree. You should post a few pics of that.
not in that event. incoming player could pass-back after any miss by opponent. i think it was only this one event. If the shooter PUSHED on the shot after the break, the incoming player could pass it back. Only on the shot after the break though.

A lot of bearded hipster types at those places usually. I see it as a mini-rebellion from and against being glued to technology and screens all the time.
Used to be a game called darts but it was too difficult for millenials, axes have like a 5" target area instead of a pointWe have a rage place here.
You can go apeshit there and smash stuff....sounds therapeutic.
Yes. I think we may have one here too. At an old job I had we used to save old parts and things beyond repair and stack them by the back door. Every few weeks we would go out in the alley as a group and smash shit. Great fun! Did you know an old starter from a Small Block Chevy would crack concrete and brick?...LMAO trust me it will!We have a rage place here.

Didn't Grady have a rule like that in some of his tournaments? The only exception was when a player called a safe shot. But otherwise the incoming player could always make his opponent shoot again if his opponent shot and missed.not in that event. incoming player could pass-back after any miss by opponent. i think it was only this one event.
Weenie Beanie's Jack 'n' Jill Cue Club in Virginia used to be the best 24/7 action room in the country for a while in the late 60's - early 70's. The only thing wrong with it was that nearly all of the tables were Gandys, with maybe 2 or 3 Gold Crowns thrown in. The tournament tables in the back were both Gandys, and heaven help any player who wasn't familiar with their quirks. Those old Gandy tables sucked. The room in Tally had them and they played horrible. It wasn't even worth trying to play one hole on them.
