How about a show of support for a guy that's given his all.
Derby city pay-per-view at Accu-Stats.com running a sale for the whole show, or you can do day passes. The best camera work and commentators in the biz.
You all know Patrick Fleming. One of the more liked guys in the game. I've been very fortunate having my office across from his for the last 15 yrs.
Three years ago, at 70 yrs old, he loaded his truck after Derby and headed north to NJ. All the equipment you see at the show he carried up 23 stairs by himself to his loft. I wasn't allowed to even hold the door for him. He was adamant about doing it all. I got tired watchin him. Two days ago, at 73 yrs old, he loaded the truck by himself again. 23 stairs. I hate those stairs empty handed. Usually he can find a couple day workers to handle heavy stuff but no one was out on the corner in 8 degree weather lookin for a days pay. When you look at the arena in derby and see all the equipment, imagine the work. .I'm talking about scaffolding overhead, Lighting, Cameras, booms the booth upstairs and all the electronic You wouldn't want the job of just wiring it all up. Helluva week comin up.

I hope he finds a worthy buyer to take over the reigns of Accu-Stats.

Please guys don't take this the wrong way----- I HAVE NO PROBLEM SUPPORTING, I will support accu-stats or any other platform that brings me pool any time!!

BUT, and its a big but here. I feel that PPV is not doing pool a favor here (Looking at the big picture), I dislike DAZN, I dislike Matchroomlive because they're bringing pool down as well as PPV is bringing pool down.

You guys will keep pool at its lower revenue and lower value versus any other sport FOREVER. If you keep doing these PPV, pool will keep dying more and more and not flourishing forever. I speak this from my heart for my love of the game. We need to do something to change this, ALL THE PPV Must go and we should find other solutions to SUPPORT the companies that bring pool like accu-stats, tvmike, billiard_action_tv and many many others.

I don't know I feel that I want to post this in the public forums, companies like these are OK with 40-50-60 ppl buying the PPV but keeping pool from growing and getting more famous is beyond my understanding, I know you'll make some profit but in the same time, you're destroying the game. The average JOE would never purchase a PPV, besides 70% of pool players would never purchase a PPV, only these same names which keep repeating, those would buy the PPV and if you go back to your PPV records you'll see its the same people buying. Pool is not getting famous.

Now people please don't get me wrong here, I don't mind paying 90 or 100 bucks to watch PPV, its just that I love to see this game flourish and be famous as well as watched by non-pool players with their kids etc. This will never happen when you keep doing PPV and subscriptions (matchroom, dazn style) to watch these events.

Anyway for the support, we can do other things to give these companies support. I can't think of something right now but there's a solution to this that may bring them even more money that they're earning by this PPV.

My 2 cents.

I guess I may be the only one who does not understand what you are saying.. What improvements do you suggest to bring up to your standards???

Hi, slightly confused by this stream. Based on the schedule, Banks is happening right now, but on the site where I purchased a streaming pass I don't see an option to view it. I also don't see any archived banks matches which suggests those weren't streamed either. Are there separate sites for banks and 10 ball?

For an $80 stream, imo more than pool PPV should be priced, this is a confusing website to use.

There is only one table that is streamed in the TV Arena. The table there now is the 10' for the Bigfoot tournament. (which is a "side event"). All the matches from that event will be streamed. Once that event finishes, they will remove the 10' table, and replace it with a 9' table. At that point, all the "main event" (banks, one hole, 9 ball), will be featured on the TV Arena. We will basically see only the last 3 matches of Banks on the TV table.

Thanks for clarifying

First the compliments...the commentators are doing an excellent job and well worth the price.

Now the disappointment...Friday thru Monday the only streaming was the Bigfoot. Four days of Bigfoot and reruns. Sometime on Tuesday a 9 foot table will be installed in the TV room to watch the other disciplines.

After finally logging to watch some great 10 ball with excellent commentary, the system locked up every 7 or 8 minutes. I checked my system feed (as instructed to do) and was rated as very good and able to receive 3 video feeds at the same time. But the problems continued. Yes, continued till the end of the last match. Rebooting every 7 or 8 minutes.

Now its Sunday and I hoped to see some 9 Ball Banks and One Pocket. That "ain't" happening because it's Bigfoot, Bigfoot, Bigfoot till sometime on Tuesday. If it was advertised that half of the DCC projection was Bigfoot I would have just driven up to watch in person and to hell with Covid.

I may still drive up anyway.

Have you watched the Derby stream in the last four or five years? It has been the same schedule every time. Bigfoot only on stream Friday - Monday. Their sites and the listings did leave a lot to be desired, but why would you make any assumption that Banks would be on?

Personally I always wished they would have stayed with Banks first and move the 10 footer in on top of the shit 9 Ball at the end of the tournament.

I'll say that when this is your promotional flyer, it would appear that you can watch all the events for all 9 days. Bank pool is not specified as only the final few matches, but "Banks."

The schedule is also somewhat difficult to find online, if that is your suggested way of learning what will be streamed (the 10 ball matchups I could only find a schedule for on their facebook, and that is a picture of a printed out bracket). This was my first year looking for a stream, and everything was a bit chaotic from my perspective.

Wait till you see how "chaotic" the Thursday night stream is. LOL

For someone who has watched it for many years, actually it couldn't be more clear. The Bigfoot bracket showed the exact times of every match that would be streamed for the first four days, shown up front before the event began.

I think your reading of the advertisement is a little off. But yeah, everyone knows that Banks got the shaft when they moved to this schedule a number of years ago. I'd rather watch the Banks all day long over the BS 9ball. 10 Ball should have been put on top of that at the end. But accu-stats is only filming one table and they used to say how "they are not a streaming company" and they are more interested in selling rotation games to overseas TV markets apparently (not sure if that is the case anymore) which even their own guy in the chat today basically confirmed by saying they are putting on a TV quality production for resale. A production quality totally unnecessary for streaming but we get stuck paying the bill.

That’s why I quit buying it. I always got the early bird special for the whole tournament, but after the 10 ball replaced banks it wasn’t the same. I tried it for a year or so, but for me it was the banks that drew me in.

I’m probably in the minority here, but I’d rather watch bank pool over 10 ball any day!

Banks is the most exciting game for me. It’s pow pow pow.
