Statement from The Legends of Pocket Billiards

Dumb answer, does not answer the question!
Listen, now is not the time to try out your new tagline. I think you need to reassess where you are at as a table mechanic if you can't figure out the difference between the head and foot of the table.

You think you're smarter than I am now, so answer the question, again this answer don't work!!

If there is absolutely no difference between either end of the table, then which END is the HEAD and which end is the FOOT?????

Wow, incredible answer, so which end is the foot, so then you know which end is the head?

Do you need me to break this down for you so you can understand the difference between head and foot on a pool table that is identical at both ends?😅🤣😂its clear to me you can't answer the question, so let me put it to you another way.

You walk into a pool room, check out the balls, take them over to a pool table, and set the balls down in the middle of the table. The table has no foot spot put on it yet, and there's no name plates on the rails, so which end are you going to rack the balls at, because the table don't have a ball return, it's all drop pocket.

If there is no pretty brass Brunswick plate on your drop pocket, and you want to know which is the head end:

First, find the foot end of the table. This end of the table will be slightly lower than its counterpart - allowing balls to roll into the pockets easier. The drop pocket table was invented for the game of One Pocket, and so tables have a slight decline into the two pockets that will be used to score points.

Once you’ve found the foot end, you can successfully conclude that the opposite end of the table is the head end.

If the table was made for straight pool, it will be higher in the middle and have equal slopes to the cardinal points to help with pocketing. This makes it very difficult to identify the head end of a table without a proper placard proclaiming it.

Go Jay-Son!!

No just burning up vacation days, putting off yard work to mess around on AZB in my sweatpants hehe.

I’m in the old line state. Murderland. The once coveted land of all four seasons in equal measure. Title now lost to NC I believe.

No the truth is I don’t actually know how to tell the difference between heads and tails on drop P. If there is any difference at all in the bones or whatever. I doubt it

I don’t think it’s muy importante but some people did point to switching table ends as a “move” on the part of JS1. Of course the change had nothing to do with heads or tails of the table but which part of the cloth was more/less worn out.

The difference between head and foot is, what ever end i want the foot to be. Next week I could change my mind and rack at the other end, because it don't matter. I have customers that buy Diamond ProAms with the ball return, and want the name plate on the end of the ball return because they want that to be the head of the table, then if they scratch the cue ball returns to the head of the table. When they rack the balls, they still do that at the other end.

This was posted on our FB page but I also wanted it posted it here:

We would like to take a moment to thank all of our viewers that tuned in over the last few months to witness some historic 14.1 high runs.

We also want to thank the players that participated in our event for putting on such an exciting display of talent, skill,
and determination. To SVB, Ruslan, Earl, and Jayson, we greatly appreciate your time with us at Streetlight Academy. We know our viewers feel the same.

In regards to the video footage: we have a perfect, unedited, original high-definition recording that is secure and ready for the BCA to validate and certify -- this is our first objective. Once that task is complete, we will look at the best options to showcase this world record breaking run to the world. Our primary goal is to ensure this footage is showcased properly in a manner that will not only help the billiards industry grow in a positive way but to also create interest to outside viewership. We also want to be ensure Jayson is recognized and rewarded for his great achievement, as he should be.

With that said, we can assure our viewers the video footage will be available to the world but please be patient as this process takes time.
