I was talking about US pro athletes. Example a Arizona Cardinal play game in NJ against Giants, part of salery is taxed. Because they earned monkey in NJ.

NFL players are paid via SALARY.
It doesn't matter where they play.
They pay income taxes in their state residence ( if there are any) and federal taxes.
They don't pay income taxes to the states they visit.
Yeah, which NFL players are these who told you that?

NYC believe it or not has City Income tax, that is one reason Rush left. Hannity complains about the cray City Income Tax.

So if you live in Big apple, you pay IRS, State, City income tax.🐂💩

They shouldn't even bother with pool .

Hell the IRS in in Money collection business.

Got to local casino, hit a slot for $1,200.00 you get form to fill out, the Indian turn in form to IRS.

Uncle Joe, or who ever is POTUS, want their taxes.

Taxes pay for Cop’s, Firefighter's, And all those free services we get.

Military is paid for with tax money.

That is not correct. They pay taxes in every state they play games. I work with an ex NFL player he complained about having to pay taxes in every state he played.

However correct that is, they also only pay the MAX tax of any of state they play in i.e. If I'm taxed 5% at home (state A) and play in a state with 10% tax (state B), I would have to file a tax return for both but, generally speaking, I would get a credit in my home state for the taxes I paid in state B.

If it's reversed and home state is 10% and away state is 5%, I file in away state and pay their 5% then get that credit on my home state taxes.

Again, this is just a generic overview and I'm sure if varies by state but, as far as I know, you're not double taxed.
 
Well the minimum you make in NFL is 500k, if you a big name player could be 10 million a year

So if you a single game in day NYC it a big pay day. City, & State want
Their Tax.

Most Cities don’t have income tax, but most State do.
