no, woke bs is politically motivated or implemented because of a fear of not being "inclusive". MR are motivated by profit. the old battle of the sexes trope is speculative, not woke. when they aired jasmin vs de luna in the US open they got great numbers, according to emily. i'm not a big fan of it, unless it's by pure merit, but they're not trying to reach us purists, cuz we're already in the fold.
You don't think Shaw has a different style of play than most other Euros and Asians? I think he is noticeably different in his stroke, stance and game approach, how he plays the shots, the paths he takes for position. He is fairly unique in his game style. Even Filler who shoots as straight does not power the hard shots with 4-5 rail shape like Shaw. His table presence reminds me of Strickland in his prime, where he will just power through you despite your best efforts or any lead you may have had LOL

Plugging some numbers from the air, I am guessing roughly need at least 10 points (10 wins) out of 15 matches to be safe and qualify for stage 2. Which means he needs to win 10 out of 12 matches and he has to yet play most of the big names.
Max Lechner could be looking at early exit having lost all 4 of his matches. He has one more last match end of session. Other players playing 2 to 3 matches on Day 1 but he is playing 5

Strange that I don't see this match on the live score site. They still have Fisher with 1 loss in 1 game. Am I doing something wrong?

Looks like no replay coverage in the US. Despite my low expectations, I'm always amazed at the third rate attempts at professional pool. So much for "nineball".
Yep, I bought a subscription today to watch the tournament only to find out there are no replays of the streams. Thinking of cancelling it now...
I hope no replay for day 1 is a technical glitch. If it turns out intentional, my level of disappointment will skyrocket.
