I'll wait for the Best Of Curling Box set. Would love to see a Highlight Film with the music and commentator. Win or lose is there crying in Curling. Does anyone own Curling Cards (like baseball cards)

The top curling pro's have net worth's in the millions, much of it from endorsements, in case anyone cares.

Dave <-- in a land where towns are judged on the quality of their curling rinks

Yup, there are lots of different ways to accumulate a fortune. Personally, I feel it's a bit late in life for me to take up curling, but good luck to those that try.

I have friends in a curling league about 45 minutes from me. I enjoy watching curling as well. Has similarities to pool, especially the novelty game bobbleball.

Never too late Stu :) While I don't think this fella accumulated a fortune throwing rocks he did get into the news around here recently :

Gotta love these games like pool, golf and curling that you can enjoy forever.

Dave <--- plans to be a 98 year old pool player in 35 years

Unfortunately, that's what most people believe watching pool is. Trying to denigrate curling doesn't in any way raise pool.
It’s the same as pool. If you never hit a ball and don’t know what draw, follow, stop shots are or what the good side of the OB to be in pool is nothing to watch. So 99.2% of the people watching don’t know what they are watching. Which is why pool ain’t got a audience. Snooker has a running score as the game progresses so it’s watchable for that reason alone and works. Has since 1985

One game I can't watch is Cricket.
Have you had a chance to watch the World Cup (which is played as ODI format) or T20? I find ODI the most interesting as it sort of splits the difference between the test form of the game (which is the long one) and T20 which more like a football game. Regardless, it’s an awesome game once you get it.
