Deano

Aren't you the guy who asked for help for the boys and girls club and then when people generously gave you were then caught reselling these gifts??

That was rumor? Started by who?

Never found out source of Fake Info.

Funny thing is the donations we’re mostly sent to Boys & Girls Club.

Everyone individual or company who even donated a crooked cue, actually got thank you sent to them, and donation receipt sent from Boy Club Headquarters.

Then all you really know is that Dean was offering a free cue which was likely offered with the expectation of an endorsement to further his gain.

I am sure if someone offer you a free, anything you might consider. If there were zero string attached.

Nice analogy, great job, you win the interweb for the day!!!! 👏👏👏 You must be so proud.
It was exactly the perfect analogy. If you disagree, explain why you think it doesn't perfectly encapsulate your "if it didn't happen to you, you don't have a right to have any feelings about it" stupidness I mean mentality.

Maybe this thread is become a joke when Pool players discus being a straight arrow.

But worship Hustler, Conartists, and Road player who pray on Innocent & greedy people they to do same to them.

Best two Pool Movie’s were hustler & Color of Money about Hustling, Being not what you are, and not what you appear to be.

Well Deanoc always took care of unhappy people.
Go back and read the post again, and actually try to comprehend it this time. I covered that. Does the fact that he was willing to offer a refund after he was caught and confronted make it ok that he tried to scam them? Yes or no?
As for your fictional Car dealer they are licensed by state, and the State takes out right fraud seriously.
What does that have to do with whether it is ok to try to scam people or not?
BTW do you get a Jackpot from Deanoc, or ever deal with him.
What does that have to do with his scamming people. Do you think I am only allowed to be opposed to the scams I fell victim to but not any of the other scams out there?

This is where you should also go read post 160 again as it perfectly addresses you/your question. I've linked and quoted it below for your convenience.

"The part I don't get is why you think the rapist has to put his d!ck in your a$$hole before before you are allowed to have any feelings one way or the other about rape.

The whole "if you weren't the victim you have no right to have an opinion about their actions" argument is literally the stupidest argument ever made in the history of humanity, glaringly ludicrous even on the surface, and yet for some reason we hear it all the time."

Imagine if a jury came back to the judge in a murder trial... "we think he killed his mother, but it wasn't our mother so it's really not our place to be involved...let him go"

When I was about 14 I went fishing on mother's day with a friend who kept his boat at a High and Dry. It was a very busy day with several boats waiting to get lifted out of the water on the way back in. Everything was peaceful and friendly until a Bayliner tried to cut in front of the line to get his boat pulled next. While the other captains just bitched under their breath, my buddies dad made a point to mention how this is supposed to work, but being a Bayliner owner we already knew he was keen to making bad decisions. Next thing we knew the two captains were squared up on the dock about to come to blows when someone yells, "stop, it's mothers day!!!" And my buddies dad yells, "he's not my mother!" And drops Bayliner boy with one punch. It tought me not to mess with people. You never know who used to box for a living when they were younger. For years to come it was known as the Mothers Day Massacre. Your post made me think of this again, so thanks.

Well Car Dealers, and Car salesmen are unique. They screw people for living. Few are honest 110% except in small towns.

I personally did not buy Jackpot, was not reading the wanted for sales at time Deanoc offered.

My dealing with Deanoc we’re all good.

Did you buy a Jackpot?

I did, and I have asked you to go away

I don't know Denice, but I paid money for a cue that was falling apart and Dean took it back

Quit moving the goalposts and go away

I asked polite question, your the nasty one.

Answer up if you feel like it, if not be polite to everyone.

Being polite does not hurt.😁

I'm not nasty, you have been answered repeatedly while trying to be clever and maneuver a conversation in a room full of grownups with no time for you.

Go back to the kids table, grownups are talking

Well there you go again, but I get it you only got refund, and can not let go. You should be happy you got refund.😀

This thread started as we’re is Deanoc, but asshats had to reignite fire that had burned out.

People wonder why Pool is in toilet, because no one works to fix, or make better.

Pool is many games, 14/1, 9 Ball, One Pocket, Banks, Snooker, 3-C, etc. All fun for some people.

Players even waist time arguing over what’s best. 9 Ball or?

Like I said you got refund, you should be happy, move on you Will stress ♥️ Less.😁

Bear in mind that I like Dean, only knowing him from here. What some won't admit is that when he came on here and tried to con any of us, he wronged all of us. Likewise when he compounded his lies. He crapped on our living room carpet, then smeared it in. Then he offered to cover it if some needed their shoes cleaned.

Many on here like, admire, and respect a member that did far more harm in any one week for years than Dean did in his life. He crapped on the carpet here a handful of times. Each time he left, let things cool off, and returned to build a persona and sin again. A pole cat may put on a fancy fur coat but that doesn't change his stripes and he will out himself once again for what he is after he builds up a new fan club. I don't really care but it does seem damned hypocritical when some of the same ones fawn on someone truly evil and condemn Dean. Dean was guilty of an error in judgment and in digging in deeper when he should have just dropped the whole mess and cut his losses. Those cues could have been sold for what they were for a modest profit and Dean's life would have went on. As it is, some can't let go of what he did. That is partially because of what he did, more because of how poorly he managed the fallout.

Not talking abut league and recreational players but those that have been in the life are pretty much all guilty of pool room morality. We are friendly, maybe even friends, with people who we don't want any association with outside a poolroom or bar. I have probably known dozens of people who lived on the edge over the years. Not big time crooks but guys that were always out to make a buck even if the means weren't quite honest. A few tripped over into big time crime and went away never to be seen again. Many more got their fingers singed now and then and flew low for awhile only to be back to their old ways once things cooled down. Unless they gored my ox or did something truly obnoxious I might be friendly with them for years, having brief conversations when we met. I didn't mistake them for friends, they had tried to get over on me in the past and would again in the future but they could be quite likeable. That was one of their reasons for success. Too, they soon learned that they couldn't con me into a bad deal and that I wouldn't play dice or cards. They also learned I couldn't get drunk enough to be beaten on a pool table by these all around petty crooks and hustlers that weren't pool specialists.

I feel like these that in kinder moments we call scallywags or similar names add color to the landscape and are not without value. I also think that Dean has paid quite heavily for mistakes made not for profit but to help a friend that was in a cash bind due to health issues according to my understanding. It would stretch things beyond the breaking point to call Dean a saint. Somehow I don't see him as a major sinner that has more to atone for than the majority of us on here if truth be known. I haven't lived a perfect life and if I had it all to do over again I have to admit I would do most of it! I don't know if I am going to heaven or hell but no worries if I go to heaven and if I go to hell I am going to be too busy shaking hands with old "Buddies" to worry about it either. I am sure that some of them will be surprised to be there!

You avoided my questions yet again. I will ask them yet again and make them both real simple for you.. There are only two questions, and they are both yes or no questions.

Does the fact that Deanoc was willing to give a refund when people caught him scamming somehow make it ok that he was trying to scam? Yes or no?

Do you think I am only allowed to be opposed to the scams that I personally fell victim to, and should not be allowed to be opposed to any of the rest of the scams out there that I wasn't personally a victim of? Yes or no?
