Off the wall guess. First name Hal?Eddie Taylor?
No.Eddie Taylor?
Read the name? L.P. Record?? Sounds like a gaff deal to me.
Looks like Joe BidenThis guy was a veritable encyclopedia on pool and billiards. Anyone know who he was?
I was just kiddin' No clue who this guy is.I'd guess the info. is on an actual vinyl record, tho "l.p. record" would be a gaffy dj name ^_^
Biden would forget what he was doing five balls into a rack.Well, nobody’s got this one yet and it’s not surprising because it’s a tough one. I’ll leave it out there for a while longer so people can have a crack at it. My guess is that Jay or Bob might get it. The LP is legit, I had a chance to buy it back in 1969 but stupidly refused not wanting to spend the $5.00 at the time. Oh, and by the way it’s not Joe Biden!
No.Frank Taberski?
Jimmy Wise? Here's a hint, people: His wife played real good pool. I may even have the LP somewhere, and of course nothing to play it on.
Here's a quote from a previous thread that some of you may have missed written by a guy in Denver:
I have a very old, unopened, instructional album or lp entitled "Pocket Billiards" and below the title it says- "Take your cue from an instructor with 50 years experience. Yours for better pocket billiards, XXX XXX". I have researched the internet for any info on this album or pool player and have come up blank. On the front cover it shows Xxx Xxx and he's holding a pool cue that looks like an old Willie Hoppe. This guy looks to be 65-80yrs old in the picture. From the looks of the album and the cue, I would say it's from the sixties. Can anyone give me any info, please.
Probably a dumb guess, Jimmy Wise? Here's a hint, people: His wife played real good pool. I may even have the LP somewhere, and of course nothing to play it on.
