Did Jason run 714 in straight pool? I have been busy lately and have not heard this. If true John Schmidt must be troubled, He has been trying to break Mosconi's record for years.

yes he did, i rate it along with some others that have done super high runs each on different conditions and equipment. so impossible to compare them except by a total number.

They broke that table down super fast too, ahaha. Should have left it up for others to try on, it was playing pretty loose

Maybe they ground the Table up in giant food processor. They put the dusty partials in Mason Jars to sell with Certificate of Authenticity.

Would look great next to
APA League Trophies on mantle, dresser, or on tool box in garage.

Could be also sold as Magic Pool Dust, run on hand, shaft, and your the next wonder boy Pool player.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Thanks for the info guys. I was aware of John breaking the record, but had not heard about Jason's 714 - Man that is a big number, and yes the table can make a big difference, of course. Mosconi's record was shot on an 8 foot table and I think it had 5" pockets. So if Jason shot his on a nine footer with 4 1/2" pockets I say he is the undisputed king for high run. I think his record will stand for a long time.

Do you think they would do a limit one jar per sucker/ I mean customer?

Jayson ran 714 balls in a row and is now the high run champion.

You can say what your want about pocket size, cloth, magic rack and blah blah blah but guess what??? Let’s see the next player break the record with the same conditions. I’m willing to bet you will die from old age before it is broken but then again…. I’m not a hater

it will when someone decides they want to spend the time and money to set up a special loose table and conditions for the run,

Yes Schmidt did break his table down super fast and never gave anyone else a try before or after his 626.
The Shaw table had 3 top players attempt before Shaw which was SVB, Ruslan Chinhov and Earl Strickland. The table was sold because it belonged to the Billiard Academy which was making room for 2 more Diamond tables that were on order. The legends Of Pocket Billiards did not own the table and because there is a new addition almost completed within the Academy that has a GC4 that will be the table used when the next player attempts High Runs with will be similar specs as the GC3. New cloth does play slick and easy for pocketing balls but harder to control the cueball. Jayson Shaw worked very hard and figured out and struck lightning in a bottle.Just thought I'd educate ya.lol

Breaking the record with the same conditions could happen within 30 days of continuous play by a number of current European 14.1 players- there just is no true motivation for spending a month of one's life trying to do this- a meaningless exhibition "record". The total payouts at this week's Golf Masters was $15 million- and every dime gets paid immediately - no questions or doubts.
