Come on!

A bunch of great matches are getting ready to start. I can't figure out which one to watch, one of the greats, an up-and-commer, an American?

26 coklu/ 29 jaspers

Twice in a row, coklu shoots a ball that rolls off like a mofo on the exact same path.

The second time, coklu moved to a perfect perspective and protested with strong non verbal 'wtf', see?'!!

I've seen mechanics crawling around underneath the tables often in between matches. They also seem to be particularly concerned with one slate joint areas.

Oh, wow. Jaspers makes pretty great comeback from 42-48.

Meaning coklu loses...by two. That has to be bothersome, giving away that table took two points away from him.

Jaspers went beast mode for the first ten innings agains Zanetti. So hard to beat a player when he is playing that strong.

Thank you, to the Five&Six team for the top shelf product it has created

Pool content providers would be well-advised to mimic the final product- no down time and immediate replays of shots.

Here are ALL the matches:

So how was the event overall? Anyone attend? Good seating, etc? Unfortunately couldn't get out there as I was slammed with work.

This is already contracted for next year too, right?

There were many good matches. I never had any real problem getting a seat but towards the end a friend and I saved seats for each other. I hope that next year all the seats are raised. Some of them were floor-level.

I didn't attend and viewed much of it c/o the Five&Six streaming.

The competition was incredible, as is expected with any top-level set of competitors. What I thought was particularly notable was the high# of participants from South America, particularly Colombia. Can't ignore the American participants either, and Pedro P. had a fine showing.

I did not find the tables were of as high a quality as the play. There were more than a couple roll-offs that were clearly discernable from my comfy couch. I expect Predator will have this resolved for future rounds, or SAM will be cast aside.

Finally, the historical preservation of the happenings: the driven folks at Five&Six didn't stop at a live stream, they are available for viewing on the you tubes and the latter rounds have seen further attention from Five&Six, in the fashion of edited matches that allow viewers to watch only the game-play., reducing the total match time by 50+%.

It is this editing and polished final product that I think positions 3c as a far marketable product than pool.

C'mon, America! This game is awesome in it's initial simplicity and it's subsequent complexities. Go play it.

The LV World Cup is already on the calendar for 2023 and 2024. UMB and Predator have both expressed willingness to add 2025 and 2026. I applaud that, mostly because so many good players from (Pan)America have been at a disadvantage since 2003, with all World Cups taking place in Europe / Asia / Egypt. The tournament average in Vegas was low-ish, compared to other events. Many things factor into a tournament average, but I'll stick my neck out and say the tables were not top notch. And neither was the hotel/casino. Lots of room for improvement there.
