Your choice of cloth

What your choice of these cloths. Only using their upper end basalt. CPBA, Championship tour or Gorina. Didn’t mention Simonis cause I know it’s great and you can’t get any tournament blue. Thanks

I have the Championship Tour edition 3030 and absolutely love it. Had the last felt on for 10 years and it held up quite well

Simonis is the best but i like Gorina too.

I have used many different companies cloth over the years. Right now I am using Andy 988 and it has been fine. I can see no issues with it and have had it on for almost a year. The cloth does not seem to show burn marks like the Simonis that I had on my table for 12 years before.

I believe that Simonis is a little more refined but they are close. The company was easy to work with and I received the cloth two days after I made the call. Andy is a big tournament supporter in my area so I figured I would support them and give it a try.

they just put tournament blue simonis in my clubhouse last month

I just bought Granito tournament 2000 for my gold crown I project. It isn't installed yet, but it looks like great cloth.

I had Gorina about twenty years ago and liked it.

We changed to Royal Pro on all our tables at my poolrooms, players love it, its fast and it stays fast, even after 2000 hours it is still fast and nice to play on, and its cheap.
Will never go back to any Simonis cloth or likewise.

I just got some new 860HR put on my table. Mechanics have some on hand. Keep in mind the new stuff is colored a bit different and the feel is not the same. The looms are different. Anyway I would go Andy if I couldn't find 860hr.

I just did my table with Andy 588. I’m happy but can’t offer comparisons. I should add that is was way cheaper than most cloth.

Did something happen to the Simonis plant causing all kinds of delays? A flood or something?

The Andy is very different to the simonis cloths. Has a completely different feel. Not sure It plays any better, but plays just as fast. The name looks good on rail!!
