Moori Tip Discussion

That brings me back to my original question... What was so special about the originals that the current versions are lacking?

The originals were handmade by either one man or a few people. Best I recall one man. Quality control was super and so were the tips. Seems like the original guy sold out, not sure. Now they are cranking out maybe a hundred times the tips, no real quality control or far less.

Now they are a quality tip in a field of quality tips. Before they stood out from the competition.

I can prove they are not, that idiot scammer accused me of selling fake Mooris here on AZ. He picked apart the packaging and the decal.

They came from him.

He told on himself
Can you prove any of that? I would like to know. Do you have a link two or thread I can go to?

What do you seek to accomplish, chill, and let market for the Tip fix the problem if there is any problem.
Sometimes the way you put sentences together makes absolutely no sense.

First of all I'm not trying to do anything. I need to have substantial proof that Cue Components is actually the one selling fake Mori tips. My research says otherwise. So I guess he has to convince me.

If Berringer is as bad as he says, I want to know about it.... but I need proof.

Well I wonder why someone with good name in Billiard supply industry sell counterfeit, or kopy kat tips. Maybe I am, wrong but one thing that make a business sucessful is honestly in dealing with customers. Could there be enought money in selling FAUX Tips to destroy your good business name?

It's here on AZ still, unless he deleted his posts

Cuemakers had a laugh at his expense when he tried to blame me for selling them too cheaply

He's been outed as a knockoff artist many times. He orders in bulk from China and passes along the "savings"

His current eBay listing of "Westinghouse Micarta" ferrules is visibly fraudulent. Most of his listings are visibly fraudulent

All of the Moori tips I bought from him I verified on the Moori website. No problems.

Now I dont know what to think. Ideoligist got me researching a little bit.

It's been quite a while since I bought any tips. My brother and I went together and bought 1 dozen Moori tips. Moori has since updated the way they do their verification process. Cue Components has not updated their website to reflect this.

I will do some digging and let you all know.

It would be helpful if you offered some evidence rather than just issuing a directive.

Yeah, well you got to be careful about that. It was started by someone who is still to this day showing as a new member with only 13 posts. Yes the response they gave was unprofessional but it's possible the user did screw those tips up doing them by hand. When I started doing my own tips I messed one up doing it by hand, so I know it's possible....very possible.

That's true. But you can't always believe everything. There are many ulterior motives.

For instance saying bad about somebody because of their politics. It happens, and it happens a lot these days to people on all different sides. So I take everything with a grain of salt.

It exists here on the forum, in the cuemaker supplies pages. It is also well known that you can see his fraudulent listings on eBay if you look at the pictures
