When I see alot of bad reviews on the same guy, I don't buy from that seller,That's true. But you can't always believe everything. There are many ulterior motives.
For instance saying bad about somebody because of their politics. It happens, and it happens a lot these days to people on all different sides. So I take everything with a grain of salt.

joe barringer is the owner of https://www.cuecomponents.com/ and a very shady figure at best. I ordered two tips from him and he sent me fakes then went off the hinges when I confronted him about it take a look at the emails. What is sad is that he knows that he is now cheating people, sending...forums.azbilliards.com
FAUX's may go on the endangered species list so no more hides to make tips from.Well who would have thought there were FAUX TIPS.
I've heard this before, and mentioned ed again just today, but I really don't know what everybody's talking about. Someone just mentioned again they wish they could find a tip that played like the old Moori. What was so great about the Moori's made in the 1990s as compared to the one that made today?
I use a Moori Hard and absolutely love it! So what's the deal?
I couldn't disagree with you more and I do right now. I played with LePro's for several years and I think they absolutely suck. Constantly glazing over, mushrooming, replacing them 3 or four times a year because of the constant grooming you have to do.Absolutely nothing. It's like how people talk about revo now.
Same problems as every other layered tip.
Le pro, triangle, and elk master have always been better.
Have one on my cue right now. Glazing and mushrooming? I don't do my own tips so maybe the guy who puts them on knows how to pick a good one?I couldn't disagree with you more and I do right now. I played with LePro's for several years and I think they absolutely suck. Constantly glazing over, mushrooming, replacing them 3 or four times a year because of the constant grooming you have to do.
And once you do find a good one , it plays it best near the end of its life, and then you got to change it again.
JUST SAY NO... TO LePRO!![]()
I have a mix of Le Pro and Triangles on 6 shafts and I cant tell which is which and they need no grooming.Have one on my cue right now. Glazing and mushrooming? I don't do my own tips so maybe the guy who puts them on knows how to pick a good one?
Mine is at the half way point, 6-8 months old.
After the initial "pounding"(3weeks):I reshape it and never touch it again.
I have a triangle on my other shaft. They play similar. Triangle is a skosh harder.
I couldn't disagree with you more on this, the one good lepro, on a solid maple shaft , super super sweet clunk hard hit, doesn't get better for me lolI couldn't disagree with you more and I do right now. It exists here on the forum, in the cuemaker supplies pages. It is also well known that you can see his fraudulent listings on eBay if you look at the pictures
I guess I don’t care enough about the issue to go looking.
I feel that if you want me to do something, like delete a business reference in one of my posts, it’s incumbent on you to show me why I should do so.
I’ve bought a few tips from Joe without any issues.

I agree with you on the Techno Duds and I just order few of those Precision tips to try outDenis Searing's Precision tips are supposed to be like the old Moori's. I tried one out. Great tip but I'm sticking with the Techno Duds. If you find a good Techno Dud nothing is even close IMO.
On his website, he said to use a 10x magnifier. But Moori now uses a QR code to verify their tips. Assuming this isnt a false flag website! Good God... the things we have to go through these days!I have never tried this, but for peace of mind, it may help with identifying the counterfeits.
