You're the one trying to put down cf shafts based on your (unshared) opinion. And we've heard it.Your pushiness is really annoying. I'm sure I'm not the first person to tell you that.

CF shafts are not a person. That's the difference. You're the one trying to put down cf shafts based on your (unshared) opinion. And we've heard it.
Who said they were a person? And where do you get off telling other people what equipment should be banned, especially based solely on your opinion of beauty?CF shafts are not a person. That's the difference.
Mostly Idaho, but sometimes Florida.Who said they were a person? And where do you get off telling other people what equipment should be banned, especially based solely on your opinion of beauty?
And not all people are smart enough to express an opinion without showing their ass. Not all people understand that opinions are not required to be based on facts. When both negative qualities are combined, it leads to threads like this.CF shafts are not a person. That's the difference.

You will be incapable of finding a single sport/activity that has embraced carbon fiber into its atmosphere that has then turned around and rejected it. Golf has went from wood shafts, to steel, to carbon fiber/kevlar. You will not find a single pro who uses a wood shaft anymore. Same goes for tennis. Not a single wooden racquet in the pros. How about the auto industry? They’ve come to embrace the benefits of carbon fiber as a replacement for parts/structural.
I would be willing to wager a substantial amount that you are entirely incapable of understanding how technology is used to improve carbon fiber products. You want to argue against a product, you should begin to understand what that product is in the first place.
I find refuting your stance as realistically simple as asking one question. How much would a 11.8mm, 30”, solid wood(not laminated), low(er) deflection, guaranteed straight, 4.2oz shaft cost me? I know the answer as I reached out to some cue makers/companies. You’ll be surprised as what the true cost of a quality wood shaft is anymore. You are raging about the supposed negatives of carbon fiber. But all I see is someone upset about the realistic cost of inflation for the last 20 years combined with efforts of companies to move away from a product that has limited sustainability for the future.
It’s not a fad. And from a repairman standpoint. I love not having to perform dent repairs and in-depth cleaning. The feel and sound will get better as more and more companies start better r&d. And reducing cuemaking’s reliance on wood for shafts means more of their time can be spent on making beautiful butts. Which is a benefit over listening to your butt.
Yet you’re still here wanting to take the beating. And you’re still unwilling to accept that you’re wrong. You have no true friends anymore because of that. I am accepting that the last 30 years of companies producing carbon fiber cues, the last 5 years have seen the actual acceptance of them because they changed the entire construction of the shaft. They went with the golf shaft approach, and found that the orientation of the fibers matter. Who would have known….obviously not you. I will continue to make fun of people who have no ability to think for themselves and spout off with the most asinine retorts. I have no remorse in making people aware of the stupidity that just came out of them. It’s quite entertaining to watch people flounder the same two arguments of why carbon fiber is bad, but at the same time their game was trash before and is trash after. You're an expert at jumping on bandwagons. It takes so much courage to repeat what the majority of people are saying, without even reading the thread.
You're so brave to join a crowd who is already beating on someone.
What a hero you are.
Nobody was "beating on" anyone. You don't like cf shafts. We heard you. But you can't leave it at that, you have to keep trying to convince people that cf shafts should be banned. You don't like cf shafts, don't buy one. But there is no reason to insist they should be banned. You're an expert at jumping on bandwagons. You should read the whole thread.

It's obvious everyone else doesn't play your speed . I know league players who have been playing at least 10 years & have never run a rack of fucking 8 ball. On 7' tables. My comment was 9 ball over 8 ball, chess to checkers, one sloppy one not.

what do you care what the cost of someone elses cue is?And every one of them play w/a cue anywhere from $500-$2500 .
Some people here are very guarded concerning other people's money. And when it involves expensive chalk, some lose their minds completely.what do you care what the cost of someone elses cue is?
You keep telling yourself that lolThink CF is passing fad, nothing better then good old wood.
