He taught as a motivational speaker at university of chicago for years.Bert would have been a good motivational speaker
Here is one of his gems:
There are 3 types of people in this world
Talkers
Dreamers
Doers
Only the Doers get paid
He will still get some money for them. My guess is his material wasn't selling much anymore, so he put them on YouTube. When you start seeing his material with commercials, you'll know he's making some money. My wife makes $180 a month video taping plants! Some of Bert's videos are better than others. Seemed like he just decided it was time to crank out another video sometimes. However, some of his videos are as valuable as about anybody's and better than most.
If I even thought I wanted to get a little instruction I'd be glued to youtube until my eyes bled! Overall Bert's videos are a good value at full price. If he has dumped everything for free it wouldn't be unreasonable for those that benefit to send a little jelly his way.

Blessing in disguise?Good idea but I can't log in. Google and youtube are annoyed with me for reasons I don't have a clue. I can't log into my facebook account after they deleted two billion bots too. Am I real? The rheumatism when I try to get up says I am all too real! Saves me a lot of what would be wasted time every day anyway.

Probably holding a grudge from my teenaged drinking days. I hit something in front of the bar. I went dashing in and asked what a penguin looked like. A drinking partner said, "black and white, about three feet tall, ..." "Crap, I just ran over a nun!" She shouldn't have been at the bar anyway!
I was very very drunk one night in a naked dancing lady joint with a pool table or three when some kind of a nun came around to each person giving away prayer cards and accepting donations. I had to ask somebody else if she was real or I was hallucinating!
I owe the penguins anyway. I had one teaching me english in the fourth grade. Six two or three, when she popped you in the back of the head it was like getting hit with a boat paddle!

Not So for me, those Vids were great. The Star Pattern is always useful The Ladder is the run out jewel... I had the Mighty X on my Pool Table in a week, after I watch the Video.I remember the star pattern concept for running 9 ball. Seemed gimmicky then (90s) but IDK, that was then.
Fair enough. Are those posted anywhere? Not So for me, those Vids were great. The Star Pattern is always useful The Ladder is the run out jewel... I had the Mighty X on my Pool Table in a week, after I watch the Video.
I meant specifically the pattern runs. Didn't feel like sifting through the fluff.See post #1

Yes! The mighty X! Lol wear it like a badge of honor. Bert rocks! Not So for me, those Vids were great. The Star Pattern is always useful The Ladder is the run out jewel... I had the Mighty X on my Pool Table in a week, after I watch the Video.
Thanks. No patterns. Here is the first part of the 60 minute workout
I'd say start with: Volume 12: The Mighty X (Stroke Building), and, Volume 1: The 60-Minute Workout (Shot Making and Q-Ball control). Don't let the reference in the titles to 9-Ball influence you, as at the time these titles first came out, 9-Ball was still ALL the rage thanks to 1986's The Color of Money (was hard to get a game of 14.1 Straight Pool or Rotation at the time - everyone was playing 9), as the drills and information are universal, essential, and most importantly, they work if you do the work. - GJFor someone who has never seen one of these videos, where to start?
