Greatest Left Handed Players Ever?

Bs, left handed against left handed, follow the same pattern of play, just like right handed follows right handed. Left handed against right handed follow opposite leave positions. Just like left handed pitchers and right handed hitters and vise versus. South paw boxers against right handed boxers.
I don’t completely follow your post but I think we agree more than disagree

until Filler came along the best left handed player i've seen was Mike S., that said Filler beats him in a long race when Mike was in his prime

Filler's ability to make hard shots and get out from no where would break Mike down

Filler has Earl's straight shooting ability and both kicks/banks better
I think Sigel was known for making hard shots and getting out from anywhere too, not to mention he shot straighter than Earl. Would have been great to see Sigel vs Filler with both in their prime playing 14.1 and 9Ball!

I'll stand behind what I mentioned before that statement came from Frank McGown when we were talking about pool and different players .
I'm quite alright if you don't agree with it ha ha
Steve Mizerak was another player I enjoyed watching play the game .

What does that mean?
I never understood that term.

true, however Fillers kicking and banking ability gives him the edge in a long 9B or 10B race

14.1 would be an interesting match

Love some Miz, but Sigel is certainly the best left hand pool player thus far and probably best of either hand when compared. He had the knowledge of Irving Crane, shot making ability of Earl (without the emotional fragility), and a great 9 Ball break. Just an all around phenomenal player to watch in his prime. In later years, his talking became more annoying, but there was a time he let the cue do all of the talking. There is certainly very good reason he was inducted into the Hall of Fame at such a young age, for sure.

This thread should've been closed after someone mentioned Joshua Filler.
I didn’t intend the thread to be about the single greatest left handed player- I wanted it to be about great left handed pros in general. I thought of a few- including filler and wanted some contributions regarding players I couldn’t think of off the top of my head

In Snooker.

Lefties are way over represented as a percent of top ranked players. Top 16 often 5 or 6. Robertson, Trump, Allen, Hawkins, Mark Williams.

Currently 3 of the top 7. There was a tournament last year in which all four semi finalists were lefties. The odds of that were about 1 in 10,000 if random.

I write left handed but do everything else right handed.
And I'm a little ambidextrous doing certain things.
Like Yogi Berra once said "I'd give my right arm to be ambidextrous"

I am Right Eye Dominate, ONLY Shoot Rifles, and ShotGuns Righty, everything else in life I am a Left Handed person. Think it is possible for anyone to learn to do thing with both hands, want to is not the answer, working on doing accomplishes task.

I am also left handed and right eye dominant in pool.
