until Filler came along the best left handed player i've seen was Mike S., that said Filler beats him in a long race when Mike was in his prime

Filler's ability to make hard shots and get out from no where would break Mike down

Filler has Earl's straight shooting ability and both kicks/banks better

agreed. wu jia-qing is another one like that, makes hard shots intuitively. it seems to me, with earl being the exception, that lefties are just better at intuitive, fast and accurate play.

i would like to know why but i suspect the answer would be medical and beyond the comprehension of this layman.

i totally agree with all of your statement garczar.
their patters could be different because they play position for shots that are easier for them to reach where a righty might play for a different location

Bs, left handed against left handed, follow the same pattern of play, just like right handed follows right handed. Left handed against right handed follow opposite leave positions. Just like left handed pitchers and right handed hitters and vise versus. South paw boxers against right handed boxers.
