Your best playing production cue

My Schon R2, bought new in 81 or 82, with it’s own little red lined case. Used for over 25 years in multiple leagues, in and out of the trunk of cars. I had cue with original shaft refinished by Scot at Proficient years ago, never hit another ball, and retired it to its plush O’Neal case

Cheapest combo I have used, Players Lucky butt with a players HXT shaft on it, although not my favorite, it's passable. Same cue with a Revo or a OB or one of my custom LD shafts is much better and is about as good as any other butt I used with it. When I had that thing with a Revo on it I always got a kick out of using a $50 cue with a $500 shaft.

If I had to say a full cue, that Players Lucky cue had a great feeling hit with the stock shaft, I just can't really play well with a standard deflection shaft. Players HXT cues I also like for the money, the include a decent LD shaft with good hit feel. Probably the cheapest LD cue I would recommend to people.
 
My Pechauer sneaky plays nice, but I got on the bandwagon last year, and replaced the standard shaft with a carbon fibre one.

And I have a Schmelke sneaky that is pretty darn good, for $115. It feels a little stiff to me, but I think I would get used to that in a short amount of playing time.
 
Best that I still own by far is my McDermott E-series, model E-B5.
It is a true "Merry Widow". Birdseye maple with original maple shaft.
It plays as well or better than the D-series I've owned, maybe because of the
weight and balance point. I've always tweaked my McD's with various weight bolts
until they "felt good" to me.
I have owned the D-1, D-2, D-3, and D-5.
I have also owned the E-B3 and E-B4, which were different woods. I think the E-B4 was Zircote,
can't remember the E-B3.
The next best or closest to the E-B5 was my D-1, which is also a Birdseye maple Merry widow,
and the D-5, which is the only wrapless and is Goncalo Alves with oak handle.
Rarely does anyone ever mentions the E-series because they are overshadowed by the C and D series.
More folks need to check out the E series then lots of folks will agree with what I've stated here.
NOTE: I've also owned numerous Meucci Originals, 3 Schmelke sneakies, 2 Pechauers, a Schon, Viking, Lucasi and Mali, never owned Joss.

My current predator with C4+ construction plays better or just as good as any cue I have had.
And I had a lot of production cues: 5 predators, 3 schons, 2 mezz, joss, mali, lucasi and few others.
I also had a bunch of customs.
