Jensen by Mike Johnson

This is a special project by my great friend Michael King who designed this cue for me without me knowing any details about the cue. He did amazing job that was based on my personal preferences which he as my great friends knows. I can't express how much I am delighted with the outcome because the cue looks incredible. Also, I am highly honored and appreciative to have a friend like him.
Thank you Michael very much and big thank goes to Mike Johnson, fantastic cue maker whose cues are among the best playing cues in the world who turned Michael's ideas into this beauty and made them alive.

The points and buttsleeve are Bimble Box Burl and the forearm is Straight Grain Maple. And the veneer colors are purple, chartreuse, rose and natural. Mike add his fancy Hoppe ring to the buttsleeve sleeve and use the same rings for the joint and collars. It has beautiful MOP inlays and brown Spanish Bull leather wrap. Both shafts, the regular maple and roasted maple, have really good weight to them. The regular maple shaft weighs 4.4 ozs and the roasted maple shaft weighs 4.6 ozs! Grade A Kielwood shaft blank, of course. And of course both tips are milkduds. It had to have a SS piloted joint with 5/16-14 pin. The butt weighs 15.1 ozs which is perfect.

Beautiful Davor, and as Will said, very special. That's the first time for me to see that wood, really like it and the veneer choices were a perfect choice. Well thought out, and perfect execution, hard combination to beat.

Thank you very much!😃😃😃

Nice looking cue. Not too much bling, which accentuates the wood. Never heard of the wood either. Kind of looks like sapelle with some burl.
Thank you very much. Yes, the wood is not used very often nor it is easy to get but looks awesome.

Wonderful use of veneer colors on this cue. They stand out and complement the color of the wood perfectly. Then the old school stainless steel joint tips it all off. Jimmy Reid loved his cues!
