What a joke.Lou you are correct. So here is a breakdown to those who need to know.
We had a Gold Crown 3 set up at our Billiard Academy that was in storage for years. This was the table that Ruslan,Earl,SVB and Jayson played on. The table had new cushions put on it and new facings of course about 1 year before The Legends Of Pockets Billiards started the High Run Challenge. The table had 860 simonis blue on it. We changed it to 760 blue and didnt like it so we went with 760 Tournament green with the idea that Mosconi and all others back in the day played on green cloth. There was no alterations to the table at all. On all Jaysons runs there was no heaters and at no time were the balls replaced or taken off the table to be cleaned or polished during his 714 high run. In previous days we did clean the cue ball a couple times but only with a dry towel with no polish on it.
Now currently we remodeled our Billiard Academy and are using a Gold Crown 4 with cushions a few years old. We only replaced the facings to make sure we have the best playability possible and were standard specs which i believe are a 60 hardness. No heaters are being used and at no time the balls are being replaced or polished once a run starts. 760 Simonis green is being used again.
After speaking to Jayson and many other top players and World Champions we all agree that if heaters were used under the table and balls replaced or polished after a run starts there is no doubt Jayson would have topped the 700 ball mark 5-6 times already and SVB would have probably got to 600 or 700 also.
As for any chance of people thinking Jaysons 714 video was edited I have an open invitation to anyone especially Danny to put up 20k in cash and I will personally put up 1,000,000 in cash and Jaysons run can be reviewed by any video experts in the world. If the original video comes back edited than your a millionaire.
We have an open area at our academy we can put another 9ft. Table at so we are looking for a 9ft. Rebco leather pocket table if anyone finds one let me know. Im willing to pay top dollar for one. This table will be used for wild, wild rules where there can be heaters under the table, polish or replace the balls anytime a run starts, can rack the balls high or low, or tilted and the slate can be rounded over on the edges and huge pockets so we can have the same conditions as Schmidt uses. I want to make 100% clear that the wild, wild wesrt high runs will only be used on the Rebco table only and not on our Gold Crown 4.
I think it would be exciting to see how many balls World Champions and top players can run on the same conditions that Schmidt uses in all his runs over the past 5 years. I hope this clears up some of the questions ive been asked to post.
New cloth and new balls with great cue ball control can put up big numbers. What a joke.
Your 'stock' GC 3 happens to be the easiest 9 foot table on the TDF chart.....hmm....random luck I suppose........................ you, the man paying to break the record, just happened to have the easiest 'stock' table ever produced laying around.... and then you go off and mock John's contrived conditions.
Get real.
What a joke.
I'm just saying I don't believe for a moment that your table is stock except for new facings of standard hardness.New cloth and new balls with great cue ball control can put up big numbers.
We have not used heaters have we?
We have never replaced the balls once a run started have we?
We have not edited a video have We?
We have released an unedited video correct?
We will show how easy a record with the no rules and conditions that Schmidt used. We have followed the BCA guidelines and Schmidt has not and continues to cheat.
Now go pound sand. Lol
Well that's your opinion. We sent all needed pictures and video to the BCA and they approve the high run of Jayson Shaws and any other runs from here on have to be the same sizes or smaller.I'm just saying I don't believe for a moment that your table is stock except for new facings of standard hardness.
I would hope so because you would be hard pressed to find bigger ones.Well that's your opinion. We sent all needed pictures and video to the BCA and they approve the high run of Jayson Shaws and any other runs from here on have to be the same sizes or smaller.

What is wrong with you, back over 50 years ago all the tables had bucket pockets.I would hope so because you would be hard pressed to find bigger ones.

The mosconi table had bucket pockets so why should anyone trying to break the
run record not use the same size buckets that mosconi did. That table that Shaw broke
the record on was not rigged, ask Earl & Shane. The run was approved as was the table,
now get a life and mo
No not desperate at all - i need not try and steal sports history records. Yer bein at stupid, proof of yer stupidity ='s u not being able to answer a simple question. So I ask u again - now that shaw has surpassed j.s's phony 626 mark under false pretense - do u feel j.s teem should release the 626 in disc form? If u cannot answer this simple question - I would ask that u not continue to engage in the discussion.Imagine my surprise to see a post I made about 2 years ago, come up again.
Danny is desperate to keep this 'train wreak' of a thread going.
Where did he say that? I just read a long post of his saying exactly what they did to the table. What’s the problem, you feeling jipped?Well wrldpro said that 'there were no alterations to the table at all' which is clearly a lie.
You are Correct, right before the podcast that I just referred to in my text to lou - in a seperate podcast he stated 'there were no alterations to the table at all'. Then right after that he made another podcast stating about the pocket facings? Does the guy just enjoy telling lie's? The 626 ='s a lie, the 714 ='s a table with circus pockets/ lie. At this point we should not have to pretend that the 626 was ever Legit in the first place - ditto with the 714. Plandemic records - need to be erased - just like they tried to do with Mosconi's true record.Well wrldpro said that 'there were no alterations to the table at all' which is clearly a lie.

I know this but I also look at the TDF listing and the stock GC's on it ALL are much harder (even the ones with bigger jaws) except the Legends table where the ONLY tables easier are the Valley BBs.There is no lie.
Back in the years of the early GCs the pockets were far more generous than they are today. Anyone who has been around knows that and also know that the older Brunswick's -- the ones found in pool halls all around the country in the 50's -- were even *more* generous. Nowadays people that restore older tables for contemporary play like to tighten then up, particularly if they are 1pocket players.
So the only thing "clear" is that you don't know what you're talking about.
