Is "Feel" Essential for Successful Aiming?

In the doctored photo it looks like your line on the right facing shows that the facing isn't perfectly straight from throat to point. So maybe this particular pocket is a touch wider.

I took the pic a few months ago. I think (just for sheets and googles) I will measure each pocket the next time I go over there, this Sunday.
