Mosconi cup

Who's better thst didn't play?
Bergman and Dechaine are out cuz they won't ?

I'd bet Earl vs Billy all day if he had his mix right.
in order:
-Tony Chohan
-Josh Roberts
-Jonathan Pinegar

Personally I would have loved to see Tony in this event.

If I were grinding out matches to earn a better rating than Earl like Josh and this Jonahan individual. I'd be really annoyed that I didnt get "my" spot.

They want to see Earl melt down and break his cue.
You can add the Canadweenies to this group as well...

That said, the reason Nascar is so popular in the states isn't because of all the left turns. Fans want to see the "big crash"...lol

The way the win went down between Earl and Jayson, I can't help but be reminded of the fact that Earl is 61 years old. For a player in their prime to beat their chest like a gorilla and roar about defeating a 61-year-old, well, it kind of broke my heart for Earl. But I consider him a friend, so that's probably why.

So far, the Mosconi Cup has left a bad taste in my mouth. I hope today is different.
I felt the exact same way as I yelled at my television, "Congrats a$$hole, you just beat a senile 61 year old who would have kicked the hell out of you in his prime."

Give me your names of US players who are better right now?

According to rating not opinion...

Billy Thorpe is in the audience ready to sub in if needed :ROFLMAO:
I’ve been sitting next to him the whole time and his crew. Great guys, Billy’s not in this shot. He was off “working”

Hold on... So we have to respect Earl as a choice for the team because "he's earned it", and is still one of the top USA shooters. However we also have to give him special treatment because he's older than his opponents...?

Can we pick one please. Either he's equal and deserving, or he's a side show that needs a parking spot beside the building.

IMO, Filler was striking the ball better a year ago. Does that mean a win against him now isn't something that should be celebrated by the US..?

The one thing I think they should do for future Mosconi's, is place the teams behind the players during the match ups. This dumb walk they do after every rack is silly. Let them be a team. Let them coach between innings....

Everyone involved is a world beater, so who cares if they chat during the rack. Having their teammates beside them I think would strengthen the atmosphere even more

They used to in the past sit behind the players

Maybe... but Earl is the draw

Would somebody please get Fedor a U.S. Citizenship?
I know Fedor is applying for his citizenship, and, last I heard, he was hopeful it would be approved but is there any truth to the rumors that he actually wants to play for Team USA?

Do you think Earl Strickland "earned it" as the reason why he was chosen for this year's Mosconi Cup. He was chosen because he's a legend and attracts crowds wherever he shoots. Love him or hate him, he's chosen for his celebrity status at 61 more so than because he went out there and accumulated ranking points in 2022.
