Maybe he didn’t play his best, but I saw Shane play in Raleigh and I don’t think he’s quite ready for MC just yet. I talked with him a few times and he seemed like a good guy and his trajectory is definitely going the right way, I just think he would be a deer in the headlights at this event. But with a couple of more big tournaments under his belt maybe he will be ready.

Matchroom picked Earl because they wanted a trainwreck.

Oscar Dominguez has spent the past year kissing Shane's a** after badmouthing him privately.

Not sure about Styer.

i also think JB is a stronger player than 3 of the current usa players, however, we don't know if an invitation was extended which JB declined
 
The general tone of the moment is that US has already lost. I say stay all in with them til the last ball has dropped and after the last ball has dropped, whatever the outcome. Most important, it ain't over and anything can happen in races to 5. Sometimes even an old war horse can deliver in the moment, too.

I'd have picked him just based on what he did this year. Constantly in action with some fine results. I don't think the MC lunacy would have bothered him that much. Gotta dive in sometime.
 
USA being down 8-6 after today feels like a win considering Earl had 3 matches today. I don’t think he has to play tomorrow, does he?
 
Styer has played near flawless. He has also been trying to keep Earl from melting down between racks. Not sure what more you could ask of the guy.

And Domingaze & Styler arent that good.....aren't there enough players in the USA? Its a big country how can a big country not have 3 great players like Shane and Woodward?

Shane and Sky, super solid again.

Oscar just didn't get the shots after the break. That one miss was a killer.

So US has to win 5 of the next 7 matches...that's a very tall order.

Got to take it one match at a time, but I would think it’s a no brainer to come out with Sky, Shane and Tyler playing our first 3 matches, to give us a puncher’s chance. We can’t allow them to get on the hill early!
