If the 2 want to play it's very simple.
Pick a game.
Pick an amount.
Pick a location.
No need for another 100 pages of BS.
I named the amount. The game and the location.
He doesn't want to play.
That said....I have to agree with Lou about one thing.... Why care about how many "pages" of dialog are produced in a conversation that is entirely digital?
Number one no one is forcing anyone to be here. I scroll past topics that don't interest me hundreds of times a day. I would bet that most other people do as well.
Number two, maybe it's not bs to those of us most affected.
The underlying issue here isn't a pool match between two bad players. And to be clear, Lou is a bad player and so am I. I paid for a nine hour match that documents how bad we play.
The issue is bullying. This all started way back when because of Lou being an internet bully. Anyone who spoke up positively about Hal Houle's aiming method became a target for Lou.
Lou believes that there is no merit to aiming systems and that only brute force practice combined with natural talent is the only way to increase aiming ability. So anyone who claims otherwise, anyone who demonstrates otherwise has become a target for this man's bullying.
He is a good writer. Even went so far as to claim he is the best pool writer on the internet. (Oh, he just used a throwaway quote by Mark Griffin to claim that). So he has used his writing skills to bully and demean for more than 20 years. And not just about objective aiming systems either. This active bullying and bitching has earned him bans from places like one pocket.org and Cue and Cushion in St. Louis.
That's the reason we are here. I stood up to him from the beginning when he turned his keyboard in my direction. I will not back down from making this clear every time it is necessary to do so.
So what you see as bs is not bs to me. This asshole has deliberately made it a point to denigrate very good people, even went so far as to be derogatory to their family members. You can choose to be part of the conversation or not as you wish. But to call for the thread to be locked is uncool imo.
