I don't usually hold back when someone is basically asking for ridicule and abuse...but this one is getting a bit sad. He's not only out of touch with reality, he doesn't seem to recognize that nobody is buying any of his nonsense (except of course one person...our favorite established author, possibly the next Bill Gates and I assume future spokesman for the tube sock grip) and may even actually believe he is doing some of the things he's lying about.

So I'm going to step away, I suspect he's not long for the forum anyhow the way the delusion is escalating. It's like he and the other two are trying to out-crazy each other. I hope his mom finds him the help he needs before it's too late.

Ok ok the pool ai will include a section for gambling with fake or real money.

If the ai gamifies how to watch pool or what crazy wagering or odds can be compared then it will be more fun for users.

For example suppose a person wants to learn nine ball, the AI will create a series of bets for users to gamble on in a collective online way.

Next time Matchroom or Predator have an event, the AI will create scoreboards. Instead of everyone asking who is at the table, the AI will ask everyone what are the odds ... For clarity you open app during live event and the AI provides the betting options and shows real time calculation for odds adjustments based on betting patterns.

PS I have family in LA if anyone can be angel there is a situation. Just pray with us.

Academic Exercise: The parameterization function f(t)=u+vt, is traditionally used to parameterize any two points with a line on [0,1]. u represents the initial point and v represents the final point along the line parameterization.

A smartphone takes a photo that is does not match the actual measurements of a pool table due to lens distortion.
Define a mapping that can be applied to this instance of lens distortion to the ideal view. The numerical data in the landscape view is pixel data from a different viewpoint map.
Generalize that mapping for a photo with a different lens distortion.
Create a function to map the radius of the ball from the ideal view to a proper radius in the smartphone view.

You can share ideas and post your responses.

If anyone struggles with these exercises I will post suggestions on Dec 30.

Welcome to 1985. I've been using 3D scanning software and equipment that can scan a fixture like this, compare the data to the master CAD data it was built to and present the data in a visual format for several decades.

I can change the coordinate system and datum scheme to any set of points and re-analyze the data in seconds.

I have no need to bother with the tedious math behind it, that's some lackey's job. If you think a flipping iPhone camera can collect data with enough resolution to do what is needed you clearly haven't done or don't understand the math behind it. You are debating from the standpoint of wishful thinking. I do this for a living.
