MR's Nineball rankings have nothing to do with the WPA from what i'm hearing. I only see one Omega event in August and it will most likely be in Texas somewhere since Omega is based there.

I can't for the life of me imagine why MR would want anything to do with the WPA.

Build their own brand and watch the WPA go away forever, what do they do anyway???

I believe they have had a good size event at that room in Aiken, SC each of the past few years. Maybe that is the other with schedule still tbd.

MR is doing all they can to be the relevant ranking system.

The WPA points will determine international invites to World Championships.
The BCA rankings determine North American invites to World Championships.
The MR points will determine invites and seeding to official MR events. I don't know which of the events on the MR calendar will be seeded though. For example, Turning Stone is not seeded.
