Personally most annoying thing in pool.

I find gloves annoying. I was in the pool hall the other day and everyone is wearing a damn glove, and everyone is with a wood shaft. I'm here with Carbon fiber and no glove.

bunch of sissies!
No one has ever had a good argument as to why i should wear one.

My shafts have always been smooth
I don't care if my hands are dirty, it's what soap is for.
That extra layer removes the feel almost deadens it
Also price, I'm not a cheap bastard so i would be spending $25 for a glove if i used one

Ill throw one out there. The pool lingo that you don't really hear anywhere else . . . "It doesn't have to go", "He doesn't have to like it", "He doesn't have to win" etc, etc. Stupid and annoying.

most annyoing thing to me is when im the only one in the room and it never fails, they always take a table right next to me so that i now have to wait for them to be out of the way for me to rack or shoot. i move around the table alot and might take a seat once in 40mins plus

Kind of like when you park your car away from everyone and a car pulls right next to your door.

There are a couple of people I play with at my local room and most of the time I decline if I'm by myself and someone I don't know asks if I want to play. Today I was practicing by myself, had already been doing that about 4 hours, and I made the dumb mistake of saying OK when some guy asked if I wanted to play some 8-ball.

This guy spends at least 20 minutes talking for every 5 minutes of pool playing even when I keep telling him it's his shot. He can't talk and shoot at the same time. When it's his shot that's his cue to walk up to the cueball and start talking. Jesus wept!
An opponent who has bad etiquette. You can no longer assume any opponent regardless of age or how many years they’ve been playing has the common sense to know what constitutes poor etiquette.

No need to list what behaviors I’m specifically referring to, because if you don’t already know, you’re likely guilty of what I’m referring to. An opponent with an extremely slow pace of play I guess would fall under a completely separate category.

If I had to mention one specific behavior that irritates me that may not be obvious, is when there is only one chair at a table in which you and your opponent are sharing, and after missing or playing a safety, I’ve walked over and I’m still waiting by the chair for my opponent to get up from so I can sit down.

Only one thing really bugs me... Guys that whittle their chalk on their cues while I'm shooting. Not the guy I'm playing but the one right behind me on another table.

Sure they have shown the patience to give me the room to play my shot. However they just can't seem to hold off on making that damn 'squeak squeak squeak' in my ear while I'm getting ready to pull the trigger.

It would annoy me if everyone was trying to argue with me about why I should wear a glove. But why does their glove use annoy you?

My least favorite line is when someone says they "snapped off a tournament". Where tf did that come from???
