Your best performance will be with a shaft u always play with.... on a table u always play on. With Consistent room conditions. Different shafts play different. If it wasn't the case I would just use 14mm shafts because it minimizes the chance of warpage and u use clean it polllish it for 20 years and never get below 12mm lol...

Ps I like solid maple and ivory ferrules that are an inch long

We were talking about shafts not chicken wings -- so if that's the best you got to bolster your argument you should just go hug one of your participation trophies.

It’s been this way for years. I was on here from 2013 or 2014-2015, it was the same old grumps then, it’s the same old grumps now. Same complaints then, same complaints now.

Same threads now as then, as well “why won’t pool grow.” Meanwhile, they (the people on here forever) can’t figure out that they and their attitudes contribute to the stagnation.


On topic: enjoying my new OB cf shaft so far. I’ve been afraid of adding side spin for years, tried it the other night, and did….okay. The new shaft will definitely be part of my primary player this upcoming league sessions. Hope OB comes back. A shame to see a quality company fold.

I've had a few people/trolls here that got so bad I gave up trying to be civil with
them & just ''BLOCKED/IGNORE'' them. They're not worth the aggravation.

I've also started a few threads and the twisting of what was
actually said then the HATE grew & grew, I requested my thread
be DELETED. So far I applaud the Mods for agreeing.

FunChamp: As do all savvy forum regulars, you'd eventually rationally realize that the "folks" who obviously greatly annoy you are not the least interested in having you conform to their viewpoint; they are in fact very interested and gratified (a) that they have annoyed some folks who get annoyed and (b) that they have a frequent and totally free opportunity to see their words in print for many thousands of combined Anglophonic lurkers & regulars.

A gratifying pleasure I'm -- for the sake of consistency and credibility -- enjoying as we speak. As in -- look Mom, I've been published. and people like me a lot. Give me another chokit cookie, please.

It all depends on how you give your opinion. And if it's something silly or known to be wrong, there will be mockery. Especially the longer someone keeps it up. There is also not a lot of tolerance towards nutcases that go off on others for no reason or mis-interpret everything as a personal attack on them.

Typical thread: Start on 1 subject then get switched to a pissing contest. OB closing, to shaft diameter, to Boomers, participation trophies, Mosconi, CF shafts ,custom cues. etc, etc, etc.
This thread reads like an old Network soap opera. Buncha old women that can't agree on anything. :rolleyes::D
As for me: ....... 13mm feels like a telephone pole in my grip. .5 does make a difference & I just enjoy playing; be it with a fat knarly house cue, or a silky smooth custom with bling.
