I watered down the paint until it looked a light tan and went from there.
I figured if it was too light i could mix a little darker batch and add to it.
And I probably got a little lucky.
My hands stay dry,in fact at my age all my skin is dry.
I used sandals as my lathe.
Stuck each end in the toe end of a sandal and rotated the cue with my non painting hand,worked great.
It was this pair.
Cue has Soul!
Damn man... I have seen some funny things today, but that tops it all.
Probably used an old pair of socks for the rag.
No I used a 1/2 inch craft brush to apply the stain while spinning the butt on my home made lath, then soaked up the excess with a wash cloth.
Cost was about $8 to dye it.

I would feel that i could mess up the finish or the wood under the wrap.
