This is in the closest room to me -- about five minutes. They just recovered the tables after about five years of beer spills. The installer seems to have ignored the elephant. Bank shots are interesting....

Maybe I ate too many edibles this weekend, but I think I can see a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle in this table. The diamonds are two eyes, the rail is the mask, and whatever the installer did (or did not do) to that rail is a slightly pursed smile.

Thanks for that, Bob, that's got to be the funniest thing I have seen this week. I wonder what kind of story the hack who performed this outstanding work will concoct when bringing this to his attention? I'm sure it will be something along the lines of "when the cloth breaks in...........................".

Is that a problem with the rail bolts? What is causing that?
The rubber is completely loose along that part of the rail. To be honest, for the picture I made sure it was as wavy as possible.

The owner is not the sort of person who will be too concerned about this. The night I took the pic the staff was having a holiday party and they called up the new girl who wasn't really hired yet and she was running the room alone. She didn't know the rates -- I was overcharged at the night rate -- and she didn't know how to run the register so she couldn't give me a refund. It's hard to find good help and sometimes it's even harder to find a good manager/owner.

And where the chairs are behind the table (in the darkness)? The wall is about 50 inches from the wavy rail.

Looks like what happens when someone sits their fat ass up on the table.

The quality of the balls matches the quality of the rails.
Bob, what are you doing in a place like this?

I was mostly hoping they had improved and I was delighted to see their every-five-years-whether-needed-or-not cloth change had just been done. They have about a dozen 9-foot tables between two floors. The basement is only open on weekends which is a little surprising since the room is a block from campus and rent must be high. It is adequate for lessons for beginners if the wrong music isn't on.

This is why I’m so picky on who touches my table ( other than me)
Currently screwed ,my trusted people died or retired.
Yet another reason it sucks to get old

Not really her fault. First day or whatever.

Most times if a place (could be any kindof place shoe store...salon...resturaunt.. tavern. Music shop..ect ect. ) has piss poor employees it's a direct reflection of management and ownership. good management keeps good employees. And good ownership keeps good management.

I'm laid back patient and polite in public ...but if I notice this all the time at an establishment I quit giving them my money. And find somewhere else to go That has ownership and management that cares.

it's pretty common to see management asleep at the wheel. Alot of times the owners are clueless as well because they aren't paying ehuff attention or never there themselves.. then they wonder why their business is broke in less than three years.

I've seen smaller but good restaurants sink because they hire a bad cook. (How you can own a restaurant and not know your cook sucks?)

you give me a bad meal my first time at a place. I might come back just to give a second chance. If that time is bad too. I'll tell 5 people the place sucks. Those five people multiple into 5000 potential customers not showing up because they all heard the place sucks. Now add that up over a few months of people coming in and experiencing a bad cook till you figured it out . ...the reputation damage is already done

If your a pool hall and your tables suck. Lmao. Might as well throw a match next to a gassed rag in the corner after close. People aren't going to show up. Burn it and get the insurance money.
